Obama on Benghazi: “There’s no there there”. Well, as a lifelong empty suit, he’s probably an expert on nothings.

How government wrecked the gas can. EPA regulations which sprouted out of California’s (where else?) demand to prevent spillage led to the modern gas can, a Rube Goldberg-like POS which makes it difficult to fill mowers, generators, etc, and retain one’s sanity. We personally find the new self-closing spouts aggravating and use saved spouts from old cans instead. We believe someday, old-fashioned useful gas cans will be passed from father to son like family heirlooms.

ABC: Benghazi talking points underwent 12 revisions, scrubbed of terror reference. “…extensively edited as they evolved from the drafts first written entirely by the CIA to the final version distributed to Congress and to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice before she appeared on five talk shows the Sunday after that attack.” Wonder which of the geniuses suggested blaming the stupid YouTube video…

Obama used moonshot astronaut as photo-op prop. “When [Air Force 1] landed, Aldrin said he was summoned to the front of the plane. But he found out it was not to talk about space policy. Instead, President Obama wanted Aldrin to emerge from Air Force One next to Obama for a photo op. The moonwalker was to be a mere prop.” Pictured below: Buzz Aldrin and an empty suit.

How to kill Obamacare without even trying. One of the “architects” of ObamaCare admits the plan nobody read will collapse if young people who don’t need health insurance can’t be convinced to buy it. (That might be an easier sell if young people could get full-time JOBS and have money with which to buy it, but one of the things preventing that is… ObamaCare! Oh, well.)

Hillary Clinton accepts public service award in Beverly Hills. “The gala happened the same day members of Congress are investigating a deadly attack on an embassy in Libya. Dramatic testimony about the Benghazi massacre last September, including criticism of how it was handled by Clinton and the Obama administration, was underway in Washington, D.C.” An award to a self-serving career hack for her “service”… What difference does it make?

Dem. Congressman blames budget cuts for Benghazi attacks. Charles Krauthammer once said “If Godzilla appeared on the National Mall this afternoon, Al Gore would say it’s global warming.” Obama and his fellow Democrooks in congress would say it’s because of budget cuts. These guys are like broken records only without the wit and charm.

Obama: Proponents of limited government responsible for all the lobbyists in DC. “The Founders trusted us with this awesome authority. We should trust ourselves with it, too. Because when we don’t, when we turn away and get discouraged and cynical, and abdicate that authority, we grant our silent consent to someone who will gladly claim it. That’s how we end up with lobbyists who set the agenda; and policies detached from what middle-class families face every day; the well-connected who publicly demand that Washington stay out of their business — and then whisper in government’s ear for special treatment that you don’t get.” Hey Chucko, the well-connected who donate to your campaigns don’t want Washington to stay out of their business, they want Washington to give them more business… and now they’re even suing for it. This man is absolutely bizarre.

Dem Rep. on Benghazi Talking Points: “It was scrubbed … It was false information. There’s no excuse for that.” Wallace: “And do you think part of that was- do you think it was scrubbed because of the fact that didn’t fit into President’s narrative that Al Qaeda was on the run?” Lynch: “Well I, yeah, I think it was a victory of ‘hope over reality’- to be honest with you. They were hoping this wasn’t the case.” Obama’s whole presidency has been a case of hope over reality.
