WaPo/ABC poll shows 11 point Dem advantage in sample. How do you make Obama’s fortunes look good? Take a poll with a Dem/Rep/Ind sample of 34/23/34, a Dem advantage that didn’t exist in 2008, let alone 2010. In spite of that, Baby O only leads Romney 51/44 among registered voters. Why is the legacy media dying? Outside of the fact it richly deserves to, we can’t think of a reason.

Only 35% repeat customers, a rate that seems to be consistent nationwide, even in “green” zones like So Cal and Seattle (the Toyota Prius seems to have a loyal following, though.) President Obama leads among “swing independents.” Politico is pounding the table today about this poll (coincidentally run by a Dem Party think tank group) which shows Obama with a big lead among “swing independents”, a sub-group no one’s ever heard of before. Who are they? They’re “independents” who went 57% for Obama in 2008, favor Dems over Reps for Congress and dislike the Tea Party far more than “non-swing” indpendents. Fellas, is it that hard to construct a pro-Obama Potemkin Village these days?

O’Keefe voter fraud investigation: young man offered Holder’s ballot. Video shows man walking into a DC polling place, giving Holder’s name and address and being offered Holder’s ballot to vote. The young man then suggests that he should show his ID; the poll worker, in compliance with DC law, states: “You don’t need it. It’s all right. As long as you’re in here, you’re on our list, and that’s who you say you are, you’re okay.” Just don’t try getting on a plane as him.

Van Jones: We’re in “a post-hope Democratic Party.” Jones is launching “an Egypt-styled ‘Arab Spring,'” designed to rally “the 99 percent.” Complete with food riots and a takeover by a radical religious sect, we surmise. If only we were in a “post-dope Democrat Party,” one that contained few of its current members.

Hansen: Morality of fossil fuel emissions on par with slavery. Sounds serious, Jimbo. So how do we “free” ourselves from this new “slavery”? “Hansen said his proposal for a global carbon tax…” Shoulda guessed that one. Not to worry, the tax income will be “paid directly back to the public as a dividend, shared equally, rather than put into government coffers.” The slaves will buy their way out of slavery and the slaveowners will share the proceeds with them? Yeah, right.

Democrats deny parallels between Presidents Obama and Carter. Yeah, why not put a few more bags of quarters in the washer and spin away the parallels between Obama and Herbert Hoover, Gilligan and Howdy Dowdy too, while you’re at it?

Jesse Jackson calls on blacks to wear hoodies to polling places. “If a white kills a black we revolt, if a black kills a white it’s jail time, we kill each other it’s Miller time. Former WH economist admits “clean energy” firms don’t create many jobs. Because the “labor saving technology” in solar panel production (and modern manufacturing in general) is “quite intense”, so “some of these firms don’t employ as many people as you might hope.” So he figured out what every businessman with half a brain between here and Beijing already knew for decades. And it only took 3 years and eleventy billion bucks to do it. Genius.

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway owned (according to their most recent 13-F dated 3/31/2011) almost 200 million shares of Coca Cola and 39 million shares of Wal Mart. We’re sure he’s selling today to support this noble effort.

Olbermann: Me on Current TV is like a $10 million chandelier in a crappy house. That’s KO “explaining” his Current TV bust-up to David Letterman. He is like a $10 million chandelier in one respect… he costs too much and does too little. And if Current eventually ends up in Obama-ruptcy, there’s one consolation – amongst all the bankrupt solar energy companies, it’ll be around friends.
