You might know that the Muslim holy month of Ramadan goes from the evening of June 28 to the evening of July 28 this year, but did you also know that violent crimes spike during the month of Ramadan everywhere in the world Muslims happen to live? Already prone to anger and violence, something about being hungry and thirsty every day makes them even more irritable. Go figure.

Linda Rolain was diagnosed with brain cancer in early 2014, needed immediate treatment to survive, but had to wait months while the dysfunctional Obamacare exchange floundered around trying to confirm coverage. She finally went elsewhere but elsewhere was bogged down by the messed-up takeover of healthcare by the federal government, too. She died earlier this week.
