There’s plenty of competition for the title of Biggest Moron in Congress, but Barbara Boxer seems to be committed to snatching the title in perpetuity.
Now the dimwitted United States senator from California has compared serving in Congress to serving in the military.
“We know that if you have veterans in one place where they can befriend each other and talk to each other. You know when you’ve gone through similar things you need to share it. I don’t care whether you are a policeman or a fireman or a veteran or by chance a member of Congress,” the California senator said. “[Democratic Rep.] Maxine [Waters] and I could look at each other and roll our eyes. We know what we are up against. And it is hard for people who are not there to understand the pressure and the great things that go along with it and the tough things that go along with it.”
Might we point out, Babs, that members of the military have to go through Basic Training, but members of congress need no training whatsoever.
And it shows.

Yes it is hard to be a leader, but your experience are in no way the same as that of a person in the military Baba. Yes I cannot relate to your situation (nor I want to) but again your situation has nothing to do with the situations faced by military. Is she trying to say that it is heroic to be in Congress...? That is laughable to say the least.
This story helps explain why California, & the USA, are such trouble. When people this stupid are elected to office, over & over & over again, they are only encouraged to do what they want for those they want to do it for. Boxer needs to go away & let those who can help repair the damage that Boxer & people of her ilk have done to the nation.
BTW, can ANYBODY in California elect somebody who does'nt have their head up their ass? ANYBODY?

Aw gee, folks. Go easy in poor little Babs. She's a desperate politician who's fighting for her political life. She was doing what all politicians do whenever possible - getting some free face time in the media.
Admittedly, after that stream of meaningless blather some of her constituents might do an "about-face" come election time, but you can't blame the old gal for trying. You can, however, blame her for being VERY TRYING. :-)
