Black Tuscaloosa tornado survivor calls Obama a liar

tornado survivor

Who better than someone who’s lived through a tornado to recognize hot air when she sees it?

This survivor of the Tuscaloosa tornado – this black survivor of the Tuscaloosa tornado – now realizes that hope and change is really just huffery and puffery.

“When Obama came here Obama said we’re gonna help everybody. That’s a lie. Tell Obama ‘Shirley said that and she lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.’”

What the country needs is another ten million just like Shirley Billingsley. Chinks in that solid black voting bloc, that is.

  • FEMA and other such Nanny State Agencies likely work okay in cities like New Orleans, New York City, LA, California, Chicago, Illinois, et.al. where the Nanny State Mentality Rules and the majority of the Citizens Have ZERO common Sense and do not possess the necessary intelligence or common sense to even get out of the Rain, but in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and in most other parts of the USA, We, the People are workers and we have common sense and we do not need or want some DC bureaucrat from OSHA or other Agency that has employees who have never worked at a real job in their lives, trying to tell us how to Pick Up Trash, or how to Run a Back Hoe or to Avoid Electrical Power Lines, etc. Common Sense Rules in regions of the country like Tuscaloosa, Alabama. When FEMA showed up, Progress Slowed to a Halt while the Feds fumbled around with Nonsenical Rules, etc. and half the volunteers who were willingly giving of their time, energy, resources and money, just left because the Feds Have No Common Sense and they do More Harm Than Good. And, you can apply this scenario to anyother Federal Government Agency or Department. That does not mean that some federal employees are all a bunch of dufuses, but the Leadership ceratainly are and the workers are schackled by the rules of the Top Bureacurats. The Feds get involved and you can bet that whatever problems you were having are about to get much worse. And, of course, at the same time FEMA is out gumming up cleanup, etc, they have another faction that is busy handing out Checks to Dead Beats who were not even involved and did not suffer any losses as the FEMA Social Workers hand out money hand over fist to folks who are defrauding them with no oversight at all. The Feds Bungle Everything They Touch. If NYC, New Orleans and other such incompetent cities want FEMA, let them have their own Local FEMA, but as for me and Alabama, FEMA stay home and let us take care of business and then we know it will be done it will be done right and expeditiously and will cost much less money to get it done.

Is that all you think disaster management entails? :D

Tell me, Mr. Common Sense, how do you ensure that everyone doesn't leap to do the same task at the same time, instead of doing what needs to be done first?

How do you get water to a crowd of dehydrated people, if the state's resources are already frantically occupied, and there's no clean water available?

How do you decide who's right, when you've got three people all squabbling with each other about what should be done first?

I love it when far righters trot out that ultratrendy term "common sense." It's almost invariably used within the context of, "I have absolutely no background or understanding of this project (or issue, or field), but I want you to treat me as if I were an expert anyway, to feed my ego."

Sorry, Greyhawk, but, when it comes to disaster management, something more than fancied "common sense" is needed. It also takes solid skills, experience and highly organized teamwork.

    • Well, Grey, that's an impressive bunch of buzzwords you managed to pack into your response, but it really didn't answer my question.

Let's try it one more time, and this time forget the buzzwords and the parroted Governments-Are-Bad-And-Stupid stereotypes, and focus on documented incidents and facts: What, SPECIFICALLY, do you think was handled badly by FEMA in Alabama?

  • FEMA is the Poster Boy of Federal Government Agency Incompetence and should be one of the First Federal Agencies to be Abolished In It’s Entirety. If a community or state has a disaster, leave it to us, we will take care of it ourselves and instead of sending FEMA, after abolishing that worthless agency, divvy up the money it cost to fund this bogus agency to the states to be held in disaster relief trust and let the local and state governments handle it
    *********************
Oh, absolutely. That would work SO well for a multistate disaster, to have several disaster management agencies all fighting among themselves over who's responsible for what, and who's going to pay for it.

But, hey, why don't you tell us specifically what you think was badly handled in Alabama? I'd like to hear how FEMA sabotaged these local agencies that were making "great progress." Disaster relief in this country follows a very specific chain of command, like the military and every person involved (right down to ER personnel like me) is familiar with that chain of command, and how it works.

I'd also like to ask you why you see a problem with FEMA ensuring that volunteers be kept safe. Does it not occur to you that disaster relief isn't likely to make much progress, if those working on it end up becoming PART of the disaster?

  • And Shirley of Tuscaloosa, Alabama is telling the truth about the Serial Lying Obama. A few days after the horriffic F-5 tornado ripped through Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Obama showed up for a Photo Op, and then a little while later FEMA and other Federal Government Bureaucrats Rolled Into Alabama and it all went downhill from there as FEMA and the Other Feds began to bungle everything and in the process disrupted Local Efforts which were making great progress in the clean up. After The Feds Showed Up, the RED Tape Bomb Went Off and almost all Cleanup and Recovery Efforts Stopped as the FEDS began providing forms, certifications and even OSHA MANDATED Certification for Volunteers. FEMA is the Poster Boy of Federal Government Agency Incompetence and should be one of the First Federal Agencies to be Abolished In It's Entirety. If a community or state has a disaster, leave it to us, we will take care of it ourselves and instead of sending FEMA, after abolishing that worthless agency, divvy up the money it cost to fund this bogus agency to the states to be held in disaster relief trust and let the local and state governments handle it and the Job Will Get Done More Expediently, More Efficiently and for Much Less Money and No Red Tape at all.

    • I actually live in Missouri, pretty close to Joplin, if you were aware of the tornado that happened there. The same thing happened here. The local communities had been helping clean up and we've all been doing a pretty good job of it; cutting up trees, removing debris, sending in supplies, etc. Then the government interfered and Obama decided to come down to give a speech or something, and then they handed out forms and made anyone wanting to help have forums and all that time-wasting junk to get in. Now the recovery progress has been slowed down alot, maybe 40-50%(just an example Olivia, don't go off and ask me to prove it). Before all this it we could have called, scheduled and come up. Afterwards we had to wait 2/3 weeks just to get confirmation that we could go. Then we had to set up a team. By the end of all this it was almost a month later.

      Very effective in deed.

      • Hey Kayla--You have witnessed and experienced first hand what I was talking about the U.S. government response following your state's disaster. Olivia is likely a FEMA or other worthless federal government agency worker and that is why she is so sensitive. George Bush caught hell after Katrina, but it was not specifically George Bushes fault and it is not specifically Obama's fault that FEMA and other Federal Government Agencies are so worthless. It is the nature of these federal agencies to have too much red tape. There are so many rules, regulations, forms to fill out and other nonsense, that by the time they actually get around to do wha they are ostensibly supposed to be doing, much valuable time and resources are lost and of course, in the end all the government agencies really care about is how it looks on paper as they mindlessly go through their bureaucratic procedures without even one government functionary questioning the need for all the paperwork. Here in Tuscaloosa, everything pretty much looks the same today as it did when FEMA first Showed Up, except now they have erected many fences around debris fields. Why spend millions of dollars in fencing materials. If the locals were still running the show, the debris and garbage would have already disappeared and building would have been started up by now. And, now, the local City Planners in conjunction with the UN's Agenda 21 project, the EPA, and HUD are discussing the rebuilding in terms of Green Zones and Planned Communities that will cost the tax payers of this city, county and state hundreds of millions more to rebuild. It is not like in the good old days when a storm blows away your house, and you clean up the mess and rebuild. They are using this disaster as an excuse to impose some Mumbo Jumbo Green Project which is sanctioned by the UN and the Globalists who are trying to shake down the USA for Carbon Credits with so-called Global Warming or Climate Change Agenda. There is not a single major problem in the USA today that is not either caused by The Federal Government's Actions or at least the problems are worsened in direct proportion to the amount of federal interventionism that takes place.

Gosh, at one time or another on this board, I've been accused of being a welfare recipient, a George Soros political manipulator, a George Soros volunteer, a FEMA worker and a government hospital employee.

Apparently everyone is so busy trying to discredit me that they forgot that I've told them at least 20 times what I do for a living. :D

        • Why is it likely that Olivia is a useless government worker? Or, why muddy up your argument with pointless speculation about a stranger on the internet (who has already stated otherwise?). Does this kind of tactic actually pay off? I'm curious--not that I'd use it even if the answer is yes

  • Yeah I feel like I'm in the florida welfare page... But why pass up an opportunity to argue about it in two areas right? What kind of a person would do that? Oh wait... All of us but those who love to fight with "us far right wingers"!

    • There is only one person to thank for that. It happens on all the pages where the troll spews its trollish rants.

      • I'll accept part of the blame for keeping her going. But I need to get back to work, so I'm going to have to knock it off.

  • Olivia wrote: "Whoa, there, Barb. You’re just confusing me further here"

Apparently that's not hard to do, Olivia. You can’t seem to understand simple declarative sentences. I wonder why that is?
    ******************************
I have no problem with understanding declarative sentences, Barb. It's when I'm seeing many inconsistencies and mixed messages that I ask for an explanation.
    ***********************

I find it interesting that you believe people who are using drugs should be supported by the taxpayer.
    ***********************
That kind of spin might work on dittoheads, Barb, but it doesn't work on me. You know as well as I do that I never made such a statement. In any case, TANF doesn't amount to enough per month to be regarded as "support." Let's be honest and call it what it is: "temporary assistance."
    |******************
You seem to think that it is cheaper and morally superior to financially support these people and their families rather than try to help them become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
    *******************
Again, you're spinning like a top. Do you have evidence that the state of Florida does, indeed, plan to "help them become self-sufficient, productive members of society"? What, exactly, are they planning? So far, the only plan I've seen is demanding that they enter treatment, or lose their funding for a year or more. I haven't seen ANY evidence that the state plans to facilitate access to affordable treatment, or even whether those who fail the test will be given a professional assessment, to determine their need for "treatment."

If you have information about this, then, by all means, post it here. You'd be doing your far right wing buddies here a big favor, since most of them seem to think this is just a punitive measure, which was also my impression. And, while you're at it, you never answered my question about whether this was a pilot program, that would be expanded to include other recipients of government funding (or the public at large). It's awfully naive to suppose that substance abuse problems exist only among welfare recipients----although I understand that IS a popular belief among the far right. ;)
    *************************
And that’s the difference between you and me. You want to “help” them and keep them dependant on you. I want to give them the skills and support to become independent and enjoy all the riches that come from being a clear-thinking, self-determining human being.
    **************************
Now you're talking like a liberal, Barb. That's exactly what WE want for all Americans, but your buddies here love to sneer at such proposals as smacking of "Nanny government."

If you have information on what the state plans to do to "give the skills and support" to these people that will mold them into "clear thinking, self-determining human beings," by all mean, share it with the rest of us. If you don't, then why not come clean (pun intended), and admit that you're making it up as you go along?
    ********************
I do understand your dilemma, though. By your own admission, you were an active member of the addiction industry. It was in your best interest to ensure that people remained addicted because without "victims" you'd be out of a job.

    That explains a lot.
    *******************
IHTM board strategy #55: when you're losing an argument, cast professional slurs on the person who's backed you into a corner.

Grow up, Barb. First, I don't work in the addictions field any more; and, second, if Florida were indeed going to "help" all those who flunked their urine tests, there'd be MORE work for addictions professionals, not less.

Now, then, instead of playing all these catty little games, suppose you tell us SPECIFICALLY what you understand the new law encompasses. Because, as I said, I can't find any evidence that those who fail the drug test are going to be "give(n) skills and support."

I'd love for you to prove me wrong on this one.

    • Oblivia (yeah I decided I actually liked that name for you)... If anyone is "spinning like a top" here it's you. You manipulate every conversation that you feel the need to speak out on and then turn everyone's words against them. If you read this whole entire debate than maybe you would see just how badly you twisted it. We started by saying that it was a good idea so that the welfare recipients wouldn't be using the money from our already broke government on drugs. You've twisted and molded our words to make us sound like people that hate anyone receiving welfare.

"Grow up, Barb.  First, I don't work in the addictions field any more; and, second, if Florida were indeed going to "help" all those who flunked their urine tests, there'd be MORE work for addictions professionals, not less."

What she meant was that once this program had been working for a while and was successful there wouldn't be as many issues as time went on. Then there would be a lesser need for nurses in that area.

Ok, now you can twist my words around. Let's see what you've got.

      • Oblivia (yeah I decided I actually liked that name for you)…
        ********************
Yes, that seems to be a very trendy practice among the far right these days: make fun of your opponents' names (or physical features), to deflect attention from the fact that you can't dispute what they're saying.

        ***************************
No need to twist anything. I'm too busy untangling your consistencies. ;)

First, how do YOU know what Barb really meant here? Are you a mind reader?

Second, you're now claiming that this new law is about saving tax dollars. But that flies in the face of what Barb said, since she claimed that this was about "helping them become self-sufficient, productive members of society." So which is it? And, if it's the latter, what specific programs are being put in place to make that happen? In what way is that likely to save taxpayers money?

I've asked that numerous times, and, so far, not one of you have had the courage to answer. I've also asked what the state of Florida plans to do to figure out which failed drug tests are the result of addiction, and which are the result of plain old substance abuse. No answer.

Third, since you've elected yourself Barb's spokesman, what do you mean, "there would be a lesser need for nurses" in addictions, if the state yanked away welfare benefits from drug abusers? That makes no sense. It's the same lapse of logic, in fact, that makes so many far righters assume that, if 60 million people don't have access to affordable health care, they'll magically cease to need health care.

I think you'd better study on this a bit, before jumping all over me for "twisting" your answers. Because, so far, it sounds as if none of you have much of an idea of how this new law works, what it entails, what it's projected to cost (or save) in the long run, or what it's intended to fix.

That's what's so illogical about your enthusiastic support of it. :D

        • Olivia, who are YOU to say who can and cannot answer for me?

I don't know why you brought up "addiction professionals". I didn't say anything about addiction professionals. I was talking about the addiction industry. Please stop changing my words to support your agenda. Thank you.

I've got nothing more to say about the rest of your nonsense.

Translation: I've got nothing more to say about the rest of your nonsense.

            **********************
I have no idea what you mean by "the addiction industry," or why you see that as separate and distinct from "addiction professionals." For that matter, I have no idea what you mean about my "agenda." I'm merely trying to understand why so many of you think so highly of this new law, when you can't even agree among yourselves what it entails, or what it's likely to cost.

And the fact that you're now refusing to discuss this any further suggests that YOU have no idea, either.

          • Oblivia you won't comprehend it, but the reason people stop arguing with you is that you are proof positive that you can't argue with a moron.

            **********************
Not true, CO2. THey're still arguing up a storm. They're just all trying to avoid specifying what the new law is about and what it entails. Why? Probably because they don't have the slightest idea, nor do they care. They're just eager to jump on that bandwagon and start punishing their favorite scapegoats.

          • "They're just all trying to avoid specifying what the new law is about and what it entails. Why? Probably because they don't have the slightest idea, nor do they care. "

Wow. How did you reach that conclusion, Olivia?

You didn't think I cared? What did I say that would ever give you that idea?

Was it when I said I didn't give a flying fox fart what they are doing in Florida. How about when I said that I didn't know what the Florida law entailed?

Seems like a wild leap for you to think that I don't know anything about the law and I don't care to.

  • I really think Olivia should change her name to Oblivia as she's obviously oblivious to anything and everything except the standard libtard mantras.

Wake me up when you've got something of substance to say.......

  • I see you cannot even agree that 2+2=4. You get upset at "you people" calling it "new math,"
    ***********************
I'm not "upset" in the least, my boy----just amused that you're still calling it "new math" when it's been around for at least 50 years. ;)
    ***********************
then uses a paragraph tell us that you're the one who's right about things here, not us, and then close by suggesting that perhaps I didn't stick around to learn why 2+2 might really not equal 4 (btw, I did).
    ***********************
    So, what was his/her answer?
    ***********************
Olivia, you've failed the test, with a predictable response. Even when it's 2+2=4, you cannot agree as long as a conservative says it.
    ***********************
I didn't say that, Administrator. I'm merely challenging you to back up your accusation with facts. I'm interested in finding out why you feel you're better grounded in math than a professional math teacher, even though you apparently don't realize that "new math" isn't actually new at all.
    ***********************
Now, that's enough of Olivia for this month. Just this one exchange make me feels dirty and I'm off to the shower.

    • Here's some new math for you, Olivia. "Olivia's post has four thumbs down, and The Rocking Horse Guy adds one. How many does she now have?" And if you can come up with some other number than five, you're an idiot. Plain and simple, that's the way I like my math.

You're arguing with the wrong person here. It was Administrator who claimed that some teacher told him that 2 + 2 doesn't have to equal 4. Yet, when I challenged him to explain the teacher's rationale, he suddenly took a powder.

I have no idea how 2 + 2 could ever equal 5. But, then, I'm not a mathematician. I also have very little idea how an airplane filled with people and baggage can stay in the air. Or how a simple, quick and painless procedure like a CAT scan can reveal so much information about a person's internal organs. Or how certain oral medications can stop migraines dead in their tracks.

Doesn't mean those things can't happen, just because I can't come up with a "plain and simple" explanation for them.

        • Actually, there is some really simple mathematics behind flight. What are you doing as an RN without some basic understanding of physics?

          • Did I say that you needed to understand the physics of flight? No, I said you needed a basic knowledge of physics. At least the simple physics. Otherwise, you're just another moron. Oh, there I go missing the obvious again. Never mind.

          • He is assuming you had some science background. Of course, physics isn't required in Nursing school, but it IS required in most middle and high schools. Since there are several avenues to becoming a nurse, I have no idea what you may have studied. Obviously diploma programs are more focused on actual nursing activities, while degree programs require an ever increasing exposure to theory and management, depending on what degree you have.

I've never seen a school district that required all students to take physics, either in middle school or high school. Nor can I imagine any middle school or high school requiring all students to take physics, unless it was a state requirement for graduation from secondary school. Where are you getting this information? And where are you getting the silly notion that not having studied aeronautical principles means that I've had no science background? :D

How about one that requires the prospective nurse or nursing student to describe the aeronautical principles that keep a commercial jet in the air?

Now you're grasping at straws, Deb. Apparently you thought you'd stumbled on a bonanza when I admitted I don't have the background of an aeronautical engineer, a radiology engineer and a biochemist. But that's just silly. My specialty is patient care, not operating or maintaining jet engines. ;)

        • You are an RN and you cannot understand CAT scans and how drugs work? That is scary. Especially with your time in addicitons and in ER.

There's a difference behind knowing what a medication or a piece of equipment does, and fully grasping the dynamics that make those actions possible, Deb.

Why would you expect an RN to have the same depth of knowledge as a radiological engineer and a biochemist combined? Or did you even realize that pharmacology is a bit more complicated than "Well, you swallow this pill and in a little while it's supposed to make your headache go away"? or "The machine takes pictures of your innards, and then we can see what's making you tummy hurt so much"?

I know that far right wing propaganda tends to oversimplify complex issues, but don't you think you're overdoing it a bit on the dumbing down? ;)

          • If you READ those pesky drug inserts, they have the exact mechanism of action for those drugs, where and how they work in the body (with the exception of some of the antideprssants. We know the chemical action, but not exactly why it works.) THe same is true for every piece of technology we use in medicine. If you do not understand how it all works, you cannot be an advcate for your patients. I think you know all this perfectly well, but were just looking to cover your a$$ for one of your statements. Oh, and may I remind you, I am NOT a rightwinger. I cannot stand Palin or Bachman, and I don't listen to Beck or Limbaugh. Quit practicing the generalizations you accuse the posters on this site of doing.

          • If you READ those pesky drug inserts, they have the exact mechanism of action for those drugs, where and how they work in the body (with the exception of some of the antideprssants. We know the chemical action, but not exactly why it works.)
            ***********************
There are many drugs with actions that aren't completely understood, Deb.

THe same is true for every piece of technology we use in medicine. If you do not understand how it all works, you cannot be an advcate for your patients. I think you know all this perfectly well, but were just looking to cover your a$$ for one of your statements.

As I've already pointed out, which both you and Barb seem unable or unwilling to grasp, there's a key difference between knowing what a particular drug is supposed to do, and understanding its chemical action within the body on a cellular level.

When I give a dose of Toradol IV to a migraine patient, all s/he wants to know (if that) is what I'm giving it for, how fast it will work, what sort of side effects it will cause, and how likely it is to fix the pain. Not one patient of mine has ever asked me about its specific mechanism of action in the brain, nor can I see how it would make me a better patient advocate to launch into a biochemistry lecture (even if I could) at the bedside.

Ditto for CAT scans. I'm perfectly capable of describing the procedure in detail, as well as why it's the diagnostic of choice in some situations, rather than, say, an Xray or an MRI. I'm also capable of detecting some abnormalities on CAT scan images. But that's not the same thing as being able to explain how a few clicks of the machine result in a detailed computer picture of the patient's internal organs just seconds later. And I don't for one minute believe that you can, either. Not without hastily googling up the information and copying it.

You might claim not to like any of them, but you surely do imitate their style. Have you ever actually entered into a discussion with me here, without just using it as an excuse to fling personal insults?

Imitation, as the wiseacres say, is the sincerest form of flattery.

          • Have you ever asked that migraine patient if she has cardiovascular or renal problems? if she is breastfeeding? If she has ever had bleeding problems? Toradol is contraindicated in all these situations. How do you explain that though they may have received toradol in the past with great success, if any of the above situations have since developed, why they cannot take it anymore? And why they don't get sent home with a month's worth for pain, even if they CAN take it? I understand that most patients in severe pain don't want to talk or hear about anything, they just want some relief. That is why YOU need to watch out for them, until they can think straight again. You have never attempted to discuss anything with me Olivia, any more than you have tried to discuss anything with anybody. I don't feel special-you are ugly to everyone, and it reflects your own ugliness inside. Actually, ITHM deleted a rant I posted over the weekend, so you have never heard me really get on your case. You do exactly what you accuse everyone here of doing. You insult, post opinions and even "facts" with no back up., you decline to look at others substatiating evidence, and you can start a fight about ANYTHING. If I said the sky is blue you would argue 10 ways from Sunday that it was really green, but I couldn't see it because I didn't have the proper light, or whatever. I don'tknow how old you are, but you are clearly a child inside, insecure and needing attention and validation. You can't get it with your own friends and family so you come here to "prove" to yourself how great you are. Pathetic.

All of those questions are asked during triage, Deb, and I have the information in front of me before I ever uncap that syringe.

The ER doesn't send people home with a month's worth of anything, Deb. It's an ER, not a doctor's office. The idea is that they get just enough to tide them over until they can follow up with their own doctor.

I don't need a Nursing 101 lecture from you, Deb. Need I remind you again that you're talking about basic drug information---which ANY nurse worth ten cents ought to know----versus a biochemist's understanding of the drug's mechanism of action at the cellular level?

Again, you were so eager to light into me that you didn't bother to read what I actually said, before barging in to condemn me. Either that, or you're so incapable of thinking in the abstract that you didn't realize there was anything more in depth to understanding pharmacology than, "Don't take this while breast feeding, and, no, you can't take it for a month."

It's pretty hard to enter a discussion with an attack dog, Deb. I've actually spent quite a bit of time here, discussing the issues of addiction, of health care, of socialized medicine, of public education, of immigration of Herman Cain, of many things. Don't blame me if you weren't interested enough to read my posts, except as an opportunity to fling personal insults.

Deb, I'm a diehard liberal posting on a far right wing website. Don't you think it would be odd if I DIDN'T disagree with the other posters 90% of the time? ;)

It's very telling that you accuse me of wanting to feel that I'm "great." Sounds like you're not any too secure in your own beliefs. In fact, I don't think I'm "greater" than anyone else. I come here to discuss current issues, partly because it's good practice to be challenged by those who don't agree with my views, and partly because I see so many exaggerations and untruths being bandied about here.

But, if I rub you the wrong way---and it's obvious that I do----there's no reason to feel obligated to respond to my posts. In fact, I'd be pleased if you didn't.

    • Are you a real person, or a computer program? I've seen more cunning moves and tactical challenges from deep blue.

  • Who in the hell cares what you're about besides yourselves you self-absorbed, narcissistic, government welfare teat suckers. You grasp at other people's money as if it belonged to you and you feel genuinely cheated if you don't get you some of it; you despise any mention of GOD, calling believers vacuous, antiquated idiots with hardly a right to live in a free society, but actually what you fear most is realising that a belief in a supreme being will collapse your little prison cell of self deceit and criminal behavior; your insights and perceptions are the insights and perceptions of one Karl Marx, a sullen, spoiled, young man who had a very wealthy benefactor and he lived like a king on another man's foutunes, until he bankrupted him of course and then scurries off into the dark to find another sucker to prey upon, all this while he's at university...sounds just like Barry's college days don't it? You people are vampires and that's why we despise you so. You don't bring anything to the table but greed and blood. There is nothing fair about your ideas or your policies, you swallow camels and strain out gnats, you argue for argument's sake, you whine and cry when you don't get the ball, and when you do you shine and cry about hos it given to you, or that there isn't enough air in it, or that we took too long getting it to you. You never play by the rules and the rules, at least from your perspective, are on a sliding scale and the goal is always elusive, nothing is ever set in stone. So you've managed to design a social-political order, of sorts, mainly because the virus of progressivism is so rampant and you have a lot of fellow travelers going over the same cliff with you. We're not the ones stereotyping you Olivia, you do that very well all by yourself. We're just watching you destroy yourselves and our nation by attempting to implement a program that has failed every time it has been tried since the French revolution! So we know you're stupid, it's just a shame you don't see it as well.

Translation: "I can't dispute the logic behind Olivia's argument, so I'm just going to throw out a lot of bogus accusations and insults, and hope that some of them stick."

Thank you, Hisham, for showing so clearly that you can't defend any of your so-called values, except by attacking and stereotyping those who question them. Could there BE better evidence that your views are rooted in blind prejudice and histrionics, rather than facts and logic?
