This report finally answered my questions wondering why so many of these wealthy people support Dems, its welfare! Imagine, a whole politcal party supported by welfare, poor and rich alike. And Unions, cant forget those bastions against the free market.
Cut Welfare + Cut Unions = No more Democrat power.

Springsteen makes himself out to be a common man hero. He and Bon Jovi are big time Democrats. With a 1.4 trillion dollar annual deficit, welfare for the rich is going to have to go.

Damn that would be a great name for a new made up band of liberals..Remember how bands like the Monkees we cast for their roles? We could assemble a group with no talent from among the liberal members of congress, put them in a band and on a TV show and call it...Ta da... "Welfare Queens"....Their TV show could have them doing all kinds of zany things in the halls of congress and end each episode with a musical number.....Nancy Pelosi on Tamboreen, Bwarney Frank on Tuba, Al Sharpton selling tickets...you get the idea the possibilities are endless. I bet NBC would have it on the air in a month...
It would be an omprovement over most of the NBC lineup.
After years of comedies attuned to liberal sensibilities and cop shows in which Christians and conservatives are portrayed as evildoers, one would think NBC would try to get their ratings up with more mainstream programming.
Or just get an intersting show now and again. I will say I like Prime Suspect. And historically I have liked the Law and Order series. But overall, the offerings on NBC have gone down the tubes in the last 10 years or so.
I think Prime Suspect had potential but apparently NBC has now cancelled it.

Why am I not surprised? Every time that network TV comes up with a decent show that has some kind of thought running though it it gets cancelled post haste. Depressing.
