It sounded like about half a dozen people applauded when he was done. That’s more than we would have expected.
Nigel Farage is willing to tell the truth, which won’t get him anywhere in politics.

Bravo! INstead of our foreign government permitting Mexican President Calderone to come into our country and lambaste Arizona for it's Immigration Law, they should have invited this guy- although the powers that be do not like to be told the truth, since they operate off of lies and misleading information.

I think I'm in love! Seriously, no nibbling around the edges of what you are trying to say, no diplomatic language, no fear of hurting someone's feelings; just Hey wake up you morons! We could use about a hundred like this in the senate in the US. As a child, I grew up with the multi-country Europe. It was exciting, interesting, every country held its own fascinations. I am so tired of evrything needing to be dumbed down to one bland, ineffective, boring sameness I could scream. Schools, TV shows, Movies, Radio Stations (remember when you could get a variety on one station?) The idea of individual value is not improving, it is vanishing. Don't achieve too much, you might embarrass those who achieve nothing. Everyone work as a group-then no leadership is available when its needed. Everyone complains about the military, but particularly officers are a hot commodity in the civilian world because they know how to step up and take charge. Wake up America-see your future before you. It is not destiny-it can be changed. But you have to see the problem and admit it to fix it.

What confuses me is the concept of "too big too fail". When looking at trying to save Spain, Britain, France, & even the USA, it may be a case to too big to save. In a way, that's what happned to the old Soviet Union, it collapsed due to it's own weight, & that could happen here if Obama & Soros get their way.
TBTF is easy. You see, you and I live in what is called a "free market". We are free to take risks and keep the rewards or losses. If we win, its ours forever after uncle sam takes his half for being him.
The folks that really run the country don't live in a free market. They call it a free market when its making them money. When it blows up and they loose their lifetime's worth of earnings in a week then its called a risk to the banking system and the losses get pushed to the taxpayer via uncle sam.

The Brits run hot and cold. They made the government protect their right to bear arms as part of the "common law" guaranteed by the Magna Carta. . . then they let the government disarm them. Then they put the right to bear arms into their Constitution after their civil war. . . then they let the government disarm them. When their army abandoned it's weapons at Dunkirk they came here, begging the membership of the NRA to give them guns. . . after the war the government, once again, took them away.
Now the UK is listed by the UN as one of the most violent nations, fist fighting, and knifings are a real problem. . . as are criminals armed with guns preying on an unarmed population. With more surveillance cameras than people in their capitol and "Muhammad" as the most popular name for baby boys. . . I doubt they ever get the right to bear arms again, which means they will not long keep the rights they have left.
Don't worry, the government is working to take away kitchen knives and anything else with a blade; and once that's been done, they plan to confiscate people's fists.
