Rachel Maddow, MSNBC hostess extraordinaire, has taken her road show to Kandahar, Afghanistan for a little of her special brand of impartial reporting.
Far be it from us to cast aspersions, but good lord, man, faces like that are the reason they invented the burkha.

I wonder how many of you Rachel haters would have the guts to go over there and do some in depth reporting while risking getting blown up? Of course the US military would not allow any of you any where near operations.

Sorry WORDEMUP my comments were toward all the folks here and I neglected to consider that among may be military service persons. You did honorable service and I thank you for it. Hopefully my nephew and my grandchild, who are on there way there, will do the same.

THat isn't a burka, it is a hijab I think. A burka would probably have bneen a betteridea, but then she may have been shot by American troops who suspected she was a suicide bomber and we'd have never heard the end of it!
