Perhaps our earlier condemnations of Charlie Rangel were too harsh. We assumed he was corrupt, but this video clip leads us to believe he is merely stupid.
Here’s ol’ Charlie spouting Keynesian nonsense (pardon our redundancy) with Judge Andrew Napolitano on Fox News.
“We have to really cut back in our spending,” Charlie said. “Everyone knows that, and we have to raise revenue in order to do it.”
Sit back and read that sentence again. Luxuriate in its utter stupidity. Swim in its ignorance.

you guys do realize, they're not stupid, it's part of a plan, to bankrupt us, to destroy the United States. To end our sovereignty. What he is saying (poorly) is that he wants to cut deficit spending, by raising revenue. Thus keeping spending at current levels, without borrowing more.

BTW, I just to point out 1 little detail about Keynesian economics. Keynes never believed in structural deficits, the gov't priming the pump part, yes. But not the structural debt part. What we have in Washington DC now, & in most state capitals, is the very definition of structural debt. It's easy to spend other people's money with the power of gov't, backed up by the gun if you resist.

The big question is, does one have to be mentally ill to think these contradictory ideas or does thinking these contradictory ideas make you mentally ill? My money is that one has to have some bad wiring to start with and then then gets worse as one tries to come to terms with the illogicality of your collectivist faith. Whatever the reason these people are truly mentally disturbed and have somehow come to power and that is very bad.
