      • Awe, thanks Poppa. BTW I finally have an answer...seems I had 2 things occur at once, mild bronchitis (hence the need for antibiotics) and then Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Common among weightlifters, LOL! but in my case it's secondary to a c-spine injury that occurred 30 years ago and repetitive motion involved with my main job. (ie lifting 400 lbs people up off the camera bed. Shoot, I guess that *does* qualify as weight lifting) Symptoms seem to have resolved themselves for now but who knows if or when it may rear its ugly head again. For now I'm going to just be thankful that I'm back to my normal productive self.

        • The 400lb people should be grateful that grumpy ol' me isn't responsible for getting them off the bed. I'd use a hat pin. Much lighter, works much faster. Yeah, I'm (dys)fun(ctional) like that.

          • lol, been tempted to do so...You know it just kills me how some weak and frail 85-year-old will insist on getting his/herself up yet then a 425 lb 26-year-old will just look at you and say "you gotta move me over cuz I can't do it myself". Sad but I really think the latter person is hoping to be dropped so s/he can sue.

          • I'd page about 14 people to do it -- you gotta lift safe, girl, and this isn't exactly an emergency. Don't wreck your back for a garden variety slob.

          • Yeah I grab who ever is availible to help...even if its a Doc...I called one cardiologist over to help and he just looked at me like I was crazy... and I handed him a pair of gloves and said WE nedd to move this patient back to her bed. He got up and put on the gloves and helped with the lifting. Then he looked at me while taking his gloves off and just smiled.

        • Thank God! I was beginning to worry about you! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Does this mean we will be seeing you around more?
          Now, start taking better care of yourself, or I'm going to have to come up there and spank you! ;-) :-P

          I still have 3 more days of antibiotics to finish, and then a follow up visit to the Dr on Monday. The hand looks much better.

    • Well, if it does, you know Obama will be sending troops to help ol' Hugo out. After all, the guy said he'd vote Obama and Barry definitely is going to need some ballot stuffing tips for next month.

  • I heard they found a bunch of votes in a car trunk in Minnesota and they were all for Chavez. But hey, it happens...

    • Yeah, the only odd thing about that bunch of ballots was they all had "Norm Coleman" witten in, then crossed out and replaced with "Hugo Chavez." Weird.

      • I was born, raised, & still live in MN. There are a few places around here that would gladly send "lost votes" to Caracas to help El-Presidente.
