New Jersey Governor Chris Christie revels in confronting Democrats and pointing out the foibles of his predecessor. In this clip The Rotund One explains what he would do if the Democrats in the state legislature decide to shut down the state government. And, of course, he does it in his usual hilarious, take-no-prisoners manner.
“Take a look at me. You think I’m sleeping on a cot? It’s not happening.”
In other words, “When you’re hot, you’re hot. And when you’re cot, you’re not.”

He's funny and witty and kicks the crap out of the political libtards but he has too much baggage in his portfolio for me to get behind him for anything more than a cabinet position! We have more than financial issues lurking in the hallway and it'll take more than money to fix our problems and frankly, I just don't think he's up to the task! Sorry if that pisses some of you off, but we're all grown-ups here...aren't we?
IF he gets bored of the snow and annoyances in New Jersey, we''ll certainly consider him for Governor of Texas. Our current governor (in office for some 10 years) is a moron and is running the state into the ground. He claims he is a conservative Republican,. but look at his decisions and it pretty much looks like he just there to line his pockets and those of his supporters. We can't get rid of him because the vote gets split among other candidates. Christie could fix our budget problems, show us what he can do about the border, and relieve us of Rick Perry all in one fell swoop!

We got a new governor in New Mexico that is just as tough. The first Hispanic, female Governor in the nation, Susana Martinez! And she is pissing a whole bunch of "good old boys" in Santa Fe off big time!
The complaint this week was that by showing up at various committee meetings she was "intimdating" people testifying at the various committee meetings! What happened to all that Hispanic male macho strutting bullshit? Are these guys afraid of a mere woman or what?
All I can say is GO SUSANA! She may not be a funny as Christie but she is prettier! And just as tough.
He and Cain need to get together, flip a coin to see who is going to run as president and vice president.
I hope NJ dems call his hand, it appears that he is not bluffing and is itching for a good fight.
So Washington how it is done Gov. Christie.
Unfortunately, Christie is too light on other issues such as borders or guns to be a great President.
Maybe, but who knows? He has to concentrate on one problem at a time and right now the budget in his state is the biggest problem. If he can get that mess straightened out maybe we will see how he does with our border problem.
That may well be true, but I could overlook those things temporarily to save the nation financially. I think he might surprise us and come around on the border issue as President. He'd realize how much it's costing us and swing to the right side of the argument. We desperately need someone as tough as Christie and I don't see anyone else out there who can do it.
Don't get me wrong. That doesn't mean I'm supporting him for President. It just means I'm not discounting him.
Wish he were my governor. After suffering through the Governator and now, Moonbeam II, Christie is just the man who could tell the unions here to shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
