Here’s Matthews at his racist (but he’s liberal so the media won’t call it that) best:

Cracker? Cracker, Chris? That sounds racist to us. But perhaps we’re wrong. Let’s double check the definition of cracker before we make any rash accusations:
Wikipedia says, “Cracker, sometimes white cracker, is a pejorative term for poor white people. It is especially used for the white inhabitants of the U.S. states of Georgia and Florida (Georgia crackers and Florida crackers), but it is also used throughout the Southern United States and more widely in North America.”
Oh, but that’s just Wikipedia and you know it’s not authoritative. So let’s try a more reputable source like Merriam-Webster: “usually disparaging : a poor usually Southern white”
There you have it. Chris Matthews is a liberal racist. Look for Katie Couric to lead off her newscast with this story tonight. Look for Keith Olbermann to name him Worst Person In the World. Look for … nahhh … none of that stuff will happen because Chris is a member in good standing in the Society of Liberal Media.

Matthews has been a cablenews loser for about a decade, & does'nt look like he can change that. I just don't get how he, or most of the MSNBC hosts, keep their jobs.
Let's see: Cracker, Peckerwood, Honky, Red Neck, White Trash---these nouns are all acceptable in describing white people (especially any Southerner or conservative) if you're a liberal. I'm sure Chris and the MSNBC gang enjoy describing their opponents as such. But Matthews gets away with it because the media and the Washington politicians sees nothing wrong in using these words.
Ask yourself, what if Rush Limbaugh (or any conservative spokesperson) used a racial perjorative in describing any minority, what would happen? To ask the
question is to answer it.

Funny, I kind of see the welfare state as the new slavery. Generations of people who have become dependent on food stamps/EBS, WIC, public housing, & thousand other gov't programs who helpless without gov't handouts. Sort of like a domesticated dog who would die if it had to hunt for it's food, rather then get it from it's master.
BTW, I will take a dog over a piece of crap 3rd generation welfare recipient every single time. Because at least the dog will show me love & appreciation for giving it food, water, shelter, treats, toys, & playing with it. The welfare recipient hates me, they will never say thank you, & will very rarely try to get off of welfare to make their life better.
