It IS a circus. Can anyone believe the choice Dems have? Either follow the hapless compendium of circus clowns... or... well... they have no choice. They HAVE to follow the clowns.

For anyone unfamiliar with the area - there are 3 main ways to downtown DC from there. 2 ways (Connecticut Avenue and Reno Road) are mostly exclusive VERY upscale residential neighborhoods all the way down to Mass. Ave - which is where Embassy Row is. The 3rd way goes down Wisconsin Avenue - also many high-end neighborhoods - from Bethesda (where the absolutely cheapest studio apt. I found for my daughter was $1600 a month rent) through upscale shopping areas down to Georgetown. Pass the GWU/World Bank area, and there are a few "city blocks" you have to face till you get to the White House and commerce areas. The only squidgy area is the sex-trade area around 14th and K street (ironically so close to the WH), and that is only bad at night. Plus the police presence is very high there 24/7.
In no way, shape or form would Matthews ever actually even drive through any dangerous (or black) areas in his trek from CC to DC. He would have to go very far out of his way to ever see a ghetto, and I guarantee you that pasty-white fat butt of his would be tingling in fear if he did!
So, apparently, it proves you're a racist if you ever utter the sentence "Hey, some of my best friends are black," but it's NOT racist to say "Hey, most of my neighbors are black."
...And the cherry on the sundae is that it's not even true.

Matthews is trying to establish his street cred, but Tingles lives in a exclusive town where the minorities catch the 5 o'clock bus after working all day as maids and gardeners. The only black he sees on a regular basis is the label of a Johnnie Walker Black scotch bottle.

I used to live right in the middle of Chevy Chase Village, and that is exactly right (well, except the bus doesn't actually come THROUGH the neighborhood - they have to catch it on one of the main roads bordering the neighborhood.)
They used to have an annual event called Trash and Treasures. Even though we would pile up stuff for free, the only people sifting through it were other residents (slumming, if you will). No blacks would dare come through there at night. Not that they would be hurt, but the cops would have had like 50 calls before they had gotten 2 blocks in.
This was back in the Clinton era, when so many of the residents were very high level liberal politicians and staff. The biggest bunch of hypocrites you can imagine! Well, I guess the biggest you can imagine until NOW.
