He was talking about morals...and what exactly is wrong with having morals? It is a little something our country could use a little more of. • I seem to remember Clinton always pointing his fist at us and biting his lower lip. The only thing missing was him saying "you better put some ice on that".

• That clip of Newt was the best they could come up with to show "Newt's new-found religiosity"? Mentioning the word "morality"? And all of a sudden he's turned into Billy Graham?

  I guess that's what the pregressives like to call "code speech". And the term "code speech" is code speech for "I'm freakin' hallucinating on all senses".

  Otherwise, it's interesting that a mere mention of morality freaks these people out. They immediately see all sorts of Church creeping in and encroaching on State.

  So the only conclusion one can then draw, since they clearly do not want ANY mixing of church and state, and since morality and church seem now to be interchangable terms, that they do not want any morality anywhere.

  Do we need any more proof that these characters won't be satisfied until they drag the whole world into the gutter?

  Besides, where the heck are all these Bible-thumping Christians anyway? We're constantly told they are all out there and very dangerous because they will shove their morality down our throats. 8 years of born-again Bush WITH a republican majority in both houses for 6 of them, and what? Do we have prayer back in schools? Is abortion illegal? Is attending church mandatory? But meanwhile, all I see are the Fundamentalist Atheists shoving THEIR morality, or lack thereof, down everyone's throat.

    No judgement of any kind, anywhere. Judgement calls are the bane of liberals. I am not talking about false judgement or misjudgement, I am talking about correct judgement. If liberals can avoid judgement then whatever they do will be acceptable in their own eyes without fear of a "moral" person raining on their parade of libertine behavior... without fear of the p world "punishment" and without fear of negative consequences for themselves.

    Exactly. I have said it and will say it again. These people are afraid of a spectre when the real enemies are at the gate. When all the stars have aligned for this supposed Christian takeover, it NEVER happened. It was never planned and it was never implemented, well because it was never planned. If anything any BASE that the evil Christians had on his county have been every single decade been chipped at to the point that when in 1962 or so prayer was no longer consider constitutional, facts have found that there has been since then, serious increases in things such as teen pregnancy, abortions, criminal behavior in children, kids being stupid not knowing anything, etc.

    All wonderful things right? I guess this is what the left wants? Stupid kids who grow up to be stupid adults who are sick and angry because life sucked?

      It's just my opinion, and you may be right, I don't know. But I think it's jsut plain and simple insanity. No different than the stimulus-response that drives someone to "decide" that the best possible thing to do is pick up a hypodermic and shoot themselves full of heroin.

      But that person only screws themeselves up. Unfortunately, the libs want to screw everyone else. They are like the parasite that attacks a host "to survive" but in the process kills the host and thus, itself. But the parasite is hard-wired and can't change its behavior. Neither can Matthews. No reason. No logic. Just a deep-seated, hard-wired urge to destroy anything that is civilized.
