Conclusive evidence that Chris Matthews is nuts: He says Newt Gingrich uses subliminal “Christian hand gestures”

by editor on March 9, 2011

It’s not like any more evidence was really necessary, but just in case you still had even the slightest lingering doubt that MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is completely insane, please watch the following video clip.

According to Matthews, pointing your finger is some kind of secret Christian gesture.

Perhaps the only thing worse than Matthews’ bizarre claim is that fact that neither of his guests responded by saying, “You’re completely bat shit crazy, Chris.”

We have another gesture for you to interpret, Chris. It also involves one finger, but it’s definitely not Christian.

tad my friend, your’e out of your league here. We may not have the best grammar or spelling, but we know facts when we see them, and we know you’ve been smokin’ way too much purple haze. Go find a nice liberal blogsite and talk with people who share your views…you know, idiots like you!

You pick the smallest things to blow out of proportion. Of real importance is how much Gingrich is trying to us religion to raise money on the pretext of running for president.

No, of real importance is how the liberal media immediately focuses their attention and tries to discredit ANY conservative who might challenge them. He was talking about morals…and what exactly is wrong with having morals? It is a little something our country could use a little more of. I looked up the word moral and nowhere does it mention religion, so not quite sure what you are talking about.

mor·al
   /ˈmɔrəl, ˈmɒr-/ Show Spelled[mawr-uhl, mor-] Show IPA
–adjective
1. of, pertaining to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong; ethical: moral attitudes.
2.expressing or conveying truths or counsel as to right conduct, as a speaker or a literary work; moralizing: a moral novel.
3.founded on the fundamental principles of right conduct rather than on legalities, enactment, or custom: moral obligations.
4.capable of conforming to the rules of right conduct: a moral being.
5.conforming to the rules of right conduct ( opposed to immoral): a moral man.
6.virtuous in sexual matters; chaste.
7.of, pertaining to, or acting on the mind, feelings, will, or character: moral support.
8.resting upon convincing grounds of probability; virtual: a moral certainty.
–noun
9.the moral teaching or practical lesson contained in a fable, tale, experience, etc.
10.the embodiment or type of something.
11.morals, principles or habits with respect to right or wrong conduct.

I believe the only hand gesture that Chrissie needs to see is the middle finger shown to him as he is walking out the door and headed over to Gore (snore tv).

What a true fool he is.

Did anyone notice that Chris Matthews started the clip making the same gesture?

HE DID! He did make the same gesture. That hypocrite!

I had to re-watch to catch it, ugh!

Maybe this is what Chris Matthews is afraid of.

The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd.

The Pope leans towards Mr. Obama and said, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!”

Obama replied, “I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand….Show me!”
So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage!

AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY!

I seem to remember Clinton always pointing his fist at us and biting his lower lip. The only thing missing was him saying “you better put some ice on that”.

That clip of Newt was the best they could come up with to show “Newt’s new-found religiosity”? Mentioning the word “morality”? And all of a sudden he’s turned into Billy Graham?

I guess that’s what the pregressives like to call “code speech”. And the term “code speech” is code speech for “I’m freakin’ hallucinating on all senses”.

Otherwise, it’s interesting that a mere mention of morality freaks these people out. They immediately see all sorts of Church creeping in and encroaching on State.

So the only conclusion one can then draw, since they clearly do not want ANY mixing of church and state, and since morality and church seem now to be interchangable terms, that they do not want any morality anywhere.

Do we need any more proof that these characters won’t be satisfied until they drag the whole world into the gutter?

Besides, where the heck are all these Bible-thumping Christians anyway? We’re constantly told they are all out there and very dangerous because they will shove their morality down our throats. 8 years of born-again Bush WITH a republican majority in both houses for 6 of them, and what? Do we have prayer back in schools? Is abortion illegal? Is attending church mandatory? But meanwhile, all I see are the Fundamentalist Atheists shoving THEIR morality, or lack thereof, down everyone’s throat.

They’re all bat-shit crazy. That’s why neither of the other two wizards noticed Chris waving goodbye to his last shreds of sanity.

BINGO was his name…

No judgement of any kind, anywhere. Judgement calls are the bane of liberals. I am not talking about false judgement or misjudgement, I am talking about correct judgement. If liberals can avoid judgement then whatever they do will be acceptable in their own eyes without fear of a “moral” person raining on their parade of libertine behavior… without fear of the p world “punishment” and without fear of negative consequences for themselves.

“We’re constantly told they are all out there and very dangerous because they will shove their morality down our throats. 8 years of born-again Bush WITH a republican majority in both houses for 6 of them, and what? Do we have prayer back in schools?…”

Exactly. I have said it and will say it again. These people are afraid of a spectre when the real enemies are at the gate. When all the stars have aligned for this supposed Christian takeover, it NEVER happened. It was never planned and it was never implemented, well because it was never planned. If anything any BASE that the evil Christians had on his county have been every single decade been chipped at to the point that when in 1962 or so prayer was no longer consider constitutional, facts have found that there has been since then, serious increases in things such as teen pregnancy, abortions, criminal behavior in children, kids being stupid not knowing anything, etc.

All wonderful things right? I guess this is what the left wants? Stupid kids who grow up to be stupid adults who are sick and angry because life sucked?

Yes.

Though I do not give them credit for all the reasoning out of causes and effects that you do.

It’s just my opinion, and you may be right, I don’t know. But I think it’s jsut plain and simple insanity. No different than the stimulus-response that drives someone to “decide” that the best possible thing to do is pick up a hypodermic and shoot themselves full of heroin.

But that person only screws themeselves up. Unfortunately, the libs want to screw everyone else. They are like the parasite that attacks a host “to survive” but in the process kills the host and thus, itself. But the parasite is hard-wired and can’t change its behavior. Neither can Matthews. No reason. No logic. Just a deep-seated, hard-wired urge to destroy anything that is civilized.

He pointed his finger at the camera.
And zero jabs his bony digit at everyone. I guess that’s all the proof we need that chrissy OTR is full of shit.

So as a Christian I am supposed to be “receiving information” from God through my finger? Too bad for Matthews that trick doesn’t work on IQ tests.

I dare that fat bastard to mock Muslims like that

KimmyQueen

Nah, he wouldn’t. What he would do is start wagging his tale in excitement if Gingrich was praising Allah’s morality and showing off the hand gestures of a finger accross the neck.

Your last line sums up my subliminal message for Chrissy Pants. I can’t believe anyone normal watches this loon. (Except for guys like IHTM in order to report the idiocy)

Wouldn’t you hate their job? They have to watch this nonsense so they can post the nonsense here for all of us to bitch about the nonsense. It’s gotta be a tough job but what the hell. Somebody has to do it!

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Administrator and Editor. Without ya’ll we would not have such a wonderfull site to visit and vent our spleens. I never understood that phrase, “vent your spleen”, can anyone explain it to me? I didn’t know my spleen had a vent and I might want to vent it from time to time.

Poor Chrissie. So he thinks morality is just a christian thing, a concept that came into existence after the appearance of Christ. If you reject morality as a “christian” thing, then, dear Chrissie, does this mean you are amoral? What a spittle-spewing dolt! Morality is the sum total of all biases, prejudices, and beliefs of a culture — no more and no less. One can credibly argue how transcendentalism and naturalism augment these three elements, but to hint morality is just a christian thing is the height of stupidity only you, Chrissie, can attain.

KimmyQueen

That is true. Moral codes and laws of behavior existed before Christ. The Code of Hammurabi comes into mind, well there was also the Mosaic law (which has its based on G-d). Many Eastern cultures had their own codes of behaviors as well, well before Christ. What you said was correct. It is a cultural phenomenon that applies and changes with the times. I am sure that Chris Matthews is an idiot, but he is obviously an idiot that fears Christians for whatever reason. If Gingrich was talking Islam and making Islam hand gestures I am sure Matthews would have been very excited that his leg will stand to tingle.

Newt Gingrich is nobody to be lecturing ANYONE on morality. If I were him, I’d stay away from that subject. Newt is an opportunist and is part of that big-government feel-good Republican that this country doesn’t need anymore. Let him go over to the Democrat Party and run as Obama lite if he wants to.

But, then again, vannila-boy Matthews and his ring of idiots view themselves as sooooooo educated and soooooooo effete – far more educated than anyone who disagrees with them could be. The thing is, they’re pretty much the only ones who think so highly of themselves. Kind of like Michael Moore.

Dang, it looks like Chris Matthews figured us out. We shall have to meet to change our secret hand-gesture code.

When is the meeting? I don’t want to miss it because I obviously missed the one where we agreed that an index finger pointing forward is our secret code and all…

Jesus Christ would have to been crucified on a pole to symbolize the gesture America is giving MSNBC.
