It’s bad enough that CNN begs viewers to send in videos, in effect, asking them to do the job that used to be called reporting. But now they’re airing apparently unedited viewer tweets with what should have been predictably bad results.
Politico reports:
CNN’s practice of running viewers’ Twitter feeds at the bottom of its screen put some jarringly raw anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment on cable during an interview with Wolf Blitzer, a reader pointed out to me today, and the segment above illustrates.
As Wolf Blitzer and Rick Sanchez talked about the crisis in U.S. Israel relations, captions included, “Israel is greedy,” and “Jewish lobby runs America.”
The items are authentic replies to Sanchez’s Twitter feed and come with attributions to their Twitter authors, but the source isn’t immediately obvious to a viewer unfamiliar with the social network, and it’s hard to imagine CNN intends to air conspiracy theories about the “Jewish lobby” (not even the “Israel lobby”!).
Can you imagine, can you just imagine the howls of liberals indignation is this had happened on Fox News?

Good thing most of the CNN viewers had switched over to Cartoon Network a while ago... Less eyes to see their gaffes.
The remarks are stupid; they are free speech nonetheless. That whole allowing 'unfiltered expression' and free speech is what really pissed off the CNN brass. So against network policy...

It wasn't anti semitic that is true in the sense that it wasn't racist nor intolerant of the religious aspect of their culture. It was politically inclined mostly. However, the liberals claim to be tolerant and loving people so had this appeared on Fox it would have been a big issue and no one can deny that. To some extent jews are still seen as the underdogs, surrounded like danybhoy implied by terrorist and terrorist inclined/supportive countries. Had Fox allowed this to happen the mass media would have jumped on Fox as allowing Israel hating comments on their channel.
The Obama White House is NOT friendly to Israel. Israel is 1 of the few truely loyal friends America has, & they ARE the frontline in the war agaist Islamic Jihadist Terrorism. They deserve better then this White House.
There is all sorts of foreign aid that could /should be cut, not to mention the United Nations. Israel does need support, & it's a good thing the US is there.

All I saw was comments such as stating that Israel is greedy, American taxpayers shouldn't be giving Israel billions of dollars for their allowance, cut off their $3 billion per year, they have a powerful lobby in America, and similar. That's not anti-Sematic, it's the truth.

Wow. It does look at first glance like one of the many running things that is now ubiquitous on cable news. If it had happened on Fox we would be hearing about it ad nauseum.
