Colin Powell blames media and Tea Party for divisive tone in Washington. Sure, there was NO partisanship in Loonytown before the Tea Party got there. And President A-hole in One, Botox Nancy and the other political circus acts (like OWS) have nothing to do with the “divisive” tone in DC either, right? “Divisive” to the political class means you have an opinion different from the one you’ve been told to have.

Colon is full of shit. CoastalEddie- his parents named him that at birth because he was the leftovers of a toilet birth. The next name was Turdardo.
I continue to be seriously disappointed in the stupid statements coming from a man I used to have much respect for.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Colin,
Why don't you retire in some old age home and spend the rest of your life thinking about all the stupid things you have said you toad.
Before speaking, he should remove his head from his colon. Nothing he says is worthwhile anyway. What parent would name their child Colon?
I blame Colin Powell for chilly winters, earthquakes and crying babies.
Cryin' babies!? Get a rope!
Mr. Powell went from respected General to racist liberal mouthpiece in a real hurry. How much do you want to bet he's been receiving some of those funds the DNC has been washing through the unions.
He has been trying to regain his blackness. He has been considered a political "Uncle Tom" for serving as Bush 43's Sec. of State.
I don't understand that at all. He has nothing to apologize for in his military career. The only thing he has to apologize for is what he's doing now.
Note that Colon was only blaming the media for giving the Tea Party attention. He thought it should have been blacked out.
When Colon got his favorite center left RINO as a candidate he went tribal and voted for the black guy that was the most communist senator in our history. For blacks and hispanics, it is truly all about race but never call that racist.
Sadly what we are witnessing, the destruction of western culture, has been brought to you by the overpriced educatio..err indoctrination system of the last 40 years.
Colin seems bitter about something. Or Colin never had the balls to TRULY speak his mind while he was serving in the Army. Isn't that the true definition of Uncle Tom?
I read his autobiography back when it first came out and the one thing that has always stuck with me was his story about losing his sidearm while on a field exercise in South Korea. He was the battalion commander at that time. When any soldier loses a weapon in the field during training all training stops and a search for the weapon begins and does not end until the weapon is found. It may take days but the search will never end until the weapon is recovered. The fact that he joked about that and no harm came to his career has always bothered me. That kind of thing is most often a career killer in the officer corp.
I can only imagine the ridicule from the troops when they learned that they were looking for a 1911 that belonged to the "old man".
I lost all respect for him and his progression through the ranks after reading that.
When i was in basic, at Ft. Polk, several of our rifles were stolen. We had marched to the range, but were in the bleachers taking a class. The rifles were all stacked on our steel pots. A guard was posted, but he fell asleep. Someone came out of the woods and grabbed some rifles. The guard and some of the drill sergeants were given article 15's for this. Keep in mind these rifles were class 3 weapons. They could be set to rock and roll, by just flipping a lever.
When Colon has something to say the A$$hole speaks.
Well played.
I thank you.
what the hell is he talking about? come on man! Look at what Washington is doing to this country Colin! You can't possibly think that it is good...can you?
Sure he does... he's prolly a member of some global elitist group actually benefiting from the left-wing wealth transfer that has been happening the past several years.
Seriously though, if this military retirement and political punditry thing doesn't work out for Powell, he should try his hand at stand-up comedy with material like this.
