Could the man with the mustache be your next President?

Off the top of our heads, we’d say there hasn’t been an American President with facial hair since, who, maybe Teddy Roosevelt? Well, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton is considering running for President.

Russian Television gave him an 18-minute sit-down interview, which is about 15 more minutes than all the American networks combined have given him.

Unlike Katie Couric, Russian television asked him tough questions. And he gave honest answers. How honest? He said on Russian television that Russia is a threat to the United Sates.

Russian Television describes it:

RT’s Dina Gusovsky sits down with former UN Ambassador John Bolton for a candid conversation about his views on the new START Treaty, relations with China, defense spending, and a potential run for President in 2012.

Bolton says that he believes if he were to run, he would get the Republican nomination and go head to head with President Obama in 2012. Bolton feels that the Obama administration has mishandled several national security issues, which has driven him to consider his own presidential run.

We love this guy. We’ve always loved this guy. How about Bolton-Christie 2012. (That might actually work, because Christie said his one year as Governor of New Jersey didn’t give him the experience to be President, which conveniently weasel-worded around the possibility of running for Vice President.)

President Bolton could run foreign affairs. Vice President Christie could run domestic affairs. And after four or eight years, Vice President Christie would definitely have the experience necessary to take over the big chair.

Yeah, yeah, we know all the stuff about Christie being a RINO. But we’re fantasizing here. Can’t a guy fantasize?

    • Yes, a good choice! I've had various opportunities to listen to Herman and he has more to offer idea wise than most of the current crop of contenders. He would get my vote, especially if he could pair up with Alan Keyes as his VP. Now there's a ticket the Progmarxilists would have trouble runnning against.

    • I only know him from his radio show and tenure as CEO of Godfather's Pizza but he seems very bright and likable.

  • Christie has good qualities without a doubt. Yet his action in appointing a muslim into our justice system spanks him down to zero. It is not for racist reasons. It is for reasonable reasons as there is no true moderate muslim in Islam. The practice of taqqiua (sp?) which commands muslims to be duplicitous towards non muslims is part of being a good muslim. So hell no. I know my American culture teaches tolerance but that will not be reciprocated by me and those with a clue until women can be free under Islamic law and all muslim organizations denounce ties to Shariah which enables the genocide of Christians and women.That will NEVER happen.

  • New Jersey, the Garden State, has just taken its first step toward becoming the Sharia State, with Governor Christie's nomination of Sohail Mohammed, an attorney to detained terrorist suspects, to a Superior Court judgeship in Passaic County. The Sohail nomination continues Christie's unfortunate pandering to the American Muslim Union and the Islamic Center of Passaic County.

    The only way Christie will make it into the WH is by dinner invitation only.

      In fact, he was there this evening. He and a slew of other 'notables' wined and dined with the first couple and (Chairman) President Hu of China (Peoples Republic of).

      • Excuse me MR "admin" but I don't know what the heck you are talking about. This is the first time I posted this info here or anywhere.

        • My apologies. I'd seen it several times this week and made a bad assumption. It was someone else. Thanks for the link.

  • Bolton's only apparent downsides:

    1) He doesn't have 143 days as a U.S. Senator under his belt;
    2) Name one community he ever organized;
    3) Name one tinhorn dictator, moslem potentate or commie president this guy ever bowed to.

    • Aw crap! I guess he doesn't have enough credentials to be President after all... what has he been doing? He better get cracking with the lazy assing and meaningless (in honor and true work) existence like our current President and then he will be ai'ight.
