Note to reporters: Don’t ask John Brennan, Obama’s counter terrorism czar, about any of the radical positions he may have taken in the past. He’s a bit touchy about the subject.
Case in point: Brennan paid a visit to the Washington Times and they had the nerve, the temerity, the balls to ask him about his comment that a 20% recidivism rate among Gitmo detainees wasn’t too shabby and about his comment that “jihad was a legitimate tenet of Islam.”
Brennan’s response to the legitimate questions was to jump up and flee the Times’ office.
The Washington Times reports:
Mr. Brennan had visited the Washington Times Editorial Board on June 24 as a result of a June 11 Washington Times editorial he objected to. It did not take long for the White House counter-terrorism adviser to lose his temper with our editorial board’s questions regarding what he previously said about individuals who become terrorists.
Mr. Brennan cut the meeting short and stormed out of our offices thereafter following a question posed by senior editorial writer Jim Robbins. Referring to a quote Mr. Brennan said in May, calling jihad a “legitimate tenet of Islam,” Mr. Robbins looked to discuss the concept of jihad further with the Obama administration adviser.
Just one question: If our counter terrorism czar can’t handle some newspaper reporters, how’s he going to handle those pesky terrorists?

He was probably afraid to say something that will get his head cut off by some terrorist that he doesn't want to piss off. In that case this is not the job for him.

just another in a litany of obama's appointees: inept, incompetent, blustering morons who want to change America but not the terrorist, he does not even know enough about history to answer simple questions, just another Czar? how much does this clown cost the tax payers a year and I suppose he has to have a staff as well, at least we know how obama plans to create employment, make everyone a czar! qualifications are not required, just some understanding of the Chicago politics model to enable the would be czar to keep their head above the rest of the crap in the cesspool they create.
