Dem congressman: The Keystone pipeline is bad because rocks sink

Dem congressman: The Keystone pipeline is bad because rocks sink. Yes, and by the way, it absolutely won’t create any jobs because someone at Cornell said so. We think you’ll find it persuasive… but not in the ways he intended.

  • It's like the dems pick the dumbest people they can find to put in office. *cough-biden-cough*

    • One of my great aunts was a big fan of the Democratic Party back in the day when they ran Texas. My dad used to say she would vote for Satan himself if he was on the Democratic Ticket. She knew NOTHING about the candidates. She walked in the voting booth, flicked the dealie for straight Democratic ticket and went home. That is how a lot of idiots get elected.

    • Well- you're close to the mark- it's actually the stupidity that's expressed in the voting booth that gets them elected... I have a very tough time accepting that these hacks actually believe what they spew but it's quite clear that they expect us to.

      • stupidity that’s expressed in the voting booth that gets them elected…

not to mention the outright voting fraud.

  • OK, we have an Arizona congressman with a heavy Mexican accent, and an "able assistant" with oversized safety goggles which are totally unneeded, putting rocks in water.

    1. Did anyone check this congressman's documentation? Is he here legally, or just another occupier?

    2. if you really want to test the "rocks sink" theory, tie a 2 ton boulder to the congressman, and drop him in the middle of the Atlantic. If he doesn't come back up, I will believe that rocks don't float.

    3. If he does come up, someone needs to give him a tutorial on how oil is extracted from tar sands and shipped in a pipeline. Rocks gon't flow very well in a pipeline, oil flows very well, and oil floats on water, making it easy to find and clean up.

  • To coin a phrase, this so called representative of the people is numb as a pounded thumb.

  • Reminds me of the Big Bang Theory......Maybe this guy could get a guest spot as a traveling expert on sinking rocks.....And being a complete and utter fool.

  • Hank Johnson: We can't put too many people on Guam or the island will sink.

What an f'ing and probably mildly retarted dumbass.

  • This comes to mind:
Sir Bedevere: No, no. What else floats in water?
    Peasant 1: Bread.
    Peasant 2: Apples.
    Peasant 3: Very small rocks.
    Peasant 1: Cider.
    Peasant 2: Gravy.
    Peasant 3: Cherries.
    Peasant 1: Mud.
    Peasant 2: Churches.
    Peasant 3: Lead! Lead!
    King Arthur: A Duck.

  • Does this dumbass seriously think they are going to send rocks down the pipeline? Nobody told him they extract the oil first?

Our country is doomed. The average IQ in D.C. is about 50.
