Take New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, for example. She couldn’t lose if her opponent released unretouched photos of Gillibrand in compromising positions with farm animals.
Nevertheless, she’s doing everything she can to fog up her party affiliation. In this campaign commercial, she mentions neither President Obama nor the word Democrat.
Despite the fact that she was elected to the House in 2006 and was appointed to the Senate in 2009, Gillibrand takes the position that she hasn’t been in Washington for long.
We beg to differ, Kirsten. You’ve already been there too long. Far too long.

At least she understands that people in Congress DON'T WORK FOR A LIVING - very telling phrase at the end there... maybe we need to hire people who are willing to actually work. Just a thought.
I had to do a double take....those walls looked like bars in a jail cell. Alas, it was just my hopey-wishie thing going on there.

We hope you're right. Who knows? The way things are falling apart for Democrats in races all across the country, it may happen.
As a life-long New Yorker I'm not too optimistic about Ms. Gillibrand losing. NY has got to be the second-largest kool-aid consuming State just behind California. But....we can hope. Maybe she'll get the Obama "kiss-of-death" endorsement.
Hey, it's up to us! Because Joe DioGuardi never practiced witchcraft or said or did anything else scandalous, he's not going to get media coverage. It's up to us to get the word out!
My local democrat is running an add explaining his top qualities which are : religion, love of fire-arms and low spending.
Also don't mention that they are a democrat. It would be lol-tastic if people weren't stupid enough to buy it.
I've noticed this more and more in the last 10 years. NObody is claiming a party in their ads or campaign signs.
