Maybe if Trey Gowdy would have stepped up and said he wanted the job, we wouldn't be stuck in this position.
We really need to get people to pay attention to what the hell they are doing to us.
Not sure what to think about Trey. I do like what he seems to be attempting with his investigation but I can't completely shake the sense that it's all nothing more than theater and part of the false hope industry that constitutes "opposition" to progressives.
He's a prosecutor by trade- how that translates to a Speakership I don't know. Has he held any leadership posts? I can certainly think of worse choices (Ryan) but I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps a bit of tenure as Speaker could enhance a resume for future consideration as Attorney general under a conservative administration.
The pattern has been pretty consistent... what's worst for the country gets implemented and the snake oil salesman critters slithering through the halls of congress trip over themselves to tell us how good it is so,,,
Ryan is going to be the next speaker and we'll get told how great this is for the American people while the next rubber stamp for the progressive agenda is seated.
It will be further proof that a grassroots revolution is what's needed to exterminate our government of the progressive vermin- some of which is disguised as the opposing party.

He was also "proud" to cut veterans' benefits. It is insulting to put this man in any leadership position.

This guy is bad news, & the less of him we have, the better. He's an open borders, wonky, establishment guy. He shouldn't be considered for the job.
