Silvio Berlusconi convicted – sentenced to seven years in prison. The former Premier of Italy was accused of paying an underage prostitute for sex. Although she told everyone she was 24, she was actually 17. Pretty much the same thing happened here in the U.S. and instead of putting the guy in prison we elected his wife to the Senate.

The woman at the center of this story is Karima El Mahroug, & she is from Morocco.
Berlusconi is a dirtbag, he has pissed many people off, & this is why he's been tagged for this. If his politics were more accepted in Europe, he wouldn't be in trouble. Much in the way Bob Menendez has avoided trouble by having the right political views.
I must say, at least this woman (she is now) was worth the effort compared to some of the broads Clinton was chasing around with his pants around his ankles. Good looking girl, she was 17, said she was 24, & I could see how someone could buy that(so to speak). That said, Berlusconi's problem was thinking with the wrong head.
That photo, believe it or not, is from back when she was 17. We can blame Berlusconi for bad morals in hiring a prostitute but we can't really blame him for thinking she was 24. Look at her!

Hopefully, more Italians will come to understand that all talks of democracy and the rule of law by the cronies of the system in the last few decades are just that, talks.
