GALLUP SUED BY DOJ AFTER UNFAVORABLE OBAMA POLLS, EMPLOYMENT NUMBERS. Evidently Gallup did the math right too, and Axlerod has a corn cob up his ass. Now we get what appears to be improper use of the DOJ by a sitting President to quash. Will Rasmussen be the next recipient of a DOJ lawsuit? Smells like desperation.

What a nightmare.
This is despicable, but not unbelievable. Just ask Gibson Guitars how punitive these people can be! My hope is that once R&R get the economy and jobs on track, they can buckle down on corruption.
With Darrell Issa in Congress there is a chance. Issa is great at digging up the activities of these crooks, but right now it has nowhere to go - getting stonewalled above him and by the president. Once he has an administration that is honest and ready to clean up the slimeballs in office, we have a chance. :)
I don't think that Congress and the rest of governemtn can be made to be moral, functioning people without greed or self interest. If we could reduce it by say, hald, it would make a world of difference!
You are right, we cannot change human nature. But we can limit the exposure/damage from these personalities as you are suggesting I think by making the office holding less attractive. What's needed is more constraints on offices so congressional seats are not used as a career choice. It would take amending the Constitution specifying term limits, prohibiting running for one office while holding another, and limiting the election process so we are not in a continuous campaign season to name a few.
Or overturning the ammendment that eliminated term limits! Clearly the founding fathers had a clue about human nature and corruption, but after the Civil War (or the War Between the states) that was overturned.
The thing with Gibson is that DoJ does'nt like being shown up in court. Maybe if they had a an actual case, they would'nt have looked as bad as they do. But at the end of the day, everything about DoJ is political, particularly under Holder.
Gallup just doesn't want AG Murder coming after them Fast and Furious style.
Holder is clearly bucking for a post election job with Obama.
A large part of the DC problem is the milquetoast republican establishment having no courage to call the dems on their illegalities. They treat democrat bad and criminal behavior as do permissive parents who have a spoiled misbehaving child. Just mumble about how some small discipline might be needed and let the child continue to be a brat. They treat the MSM similarly when seeing their complicit behavior. So what motivation do the dems or MSM have to follow the laws? There is no apparent penalty no matter how badly they behave.
Not only desperation but suppression too. This administration will do any thing to keep itself in power. It would not be above or beneath them to declare the election null and void on the November 7th if they lose and lose big. If it is close, look for the dead, illegals and zombies to have their votes counted multiple times.
Where are the rest of the msm, those in congress or Romney for that matter? This is a clear violation of the US Constitution or what is left of it.
