Gov. Jerry Brown signs Dream Act for state’s illegal immigrants. Well why not blow some more tax-dollars we don’t have? California already spends about $10.5 billion per year on illegal immigrants. Whats a mere $14.1 million when it will get Jerry Brown the Hispanic vote next election? Just remember these are not loans, they are Cal-Grants that do not have to be paid back.

New Mexico has been doing the same thing since 2005, in-state tuition rates and taxpayer funded education grants for illegals. The result? Tuition rates at our colleges has jumped over 25% for those that can afford to pay their way.
I have done a little research on the subject and found an interesting little fact. In 1996 the House and Senate passed a law, which was signed by Bill Clinton, making it illegal for any state to offer in-state tuition fees or financial aid to illegal immigrants. There are 13 states that are violating this law, in-state tuition. And 3 states, New Mexico, Texas and now California, are doubled up, they are offering taxpayer funded financial aid to illegal immigrants too. IN VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW!
We never heard any outcry about this from the Bush administration, for sure we will never hear anything from the Obummer administration. This is a direct slap in the face to those of us that could not afford to go to college, we had to go to work for a living. We worked, slaved and saved so our kids could go to college and now illegals are going to get a free ride? In-state tuition AND financial aid? It pisses me off to no end.
All 3 of my children ended up dropping out of college because they couldn't do the work for school, and still work enough to pay their way. Our surname is Hispanic-couldn't Pretty Ricky have hopped on the Moonbeam boat and funded their educations?

Sweet! I am still paying $350 a month to pay off my student loan and have been for 10 years after graduating from Cal Poly, SLO. I should have just made a run for the border. Way to go Jerry and all the dip shits like my parents that keep voting these Cali turds into office!
I'm in the same boat, paying Sallie Mae every month, but hey had I known I could have moved to Mexico, renounced my citizenship in America, then snuck over the border and got my education for free.....somehow I like the rest of Kalifornia gets screwed paying for illegals again....You know they figured out without all the benefits we pay for illegals we would have a balanced budget...But hell that would mean the liberals who run the state wouldn't be able to tax us to death to pay for their pet programs. This state sucks!!!!!
Why are states and cities that are in financial and social turmoil always governed by Democrats---California, New York, Illinois, Detroit, Newark, East St. Louis, etc, etc. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over yet expecting different results. People keep electing Democrats in the irrational belief that one more government program or benefit will solve their problems.
