Guess who else wised up. Democrats decided to put God and Jerusalem-is-the-capital-of-Israel back in their party platform after removing them earlier. Trouble is, LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa railroaded the change through on a voice vote that clearly didn’t carry the motion, showing that even amongst themselves Democrats aren’t fond of democracy.

Aw, c'mon. He was just counting all of the dead Democrats who voted, "Aye". That's where the two thirds came from!
So Democrats include dead voters just like Republicans ignore live voters?
John, can it already. No one is interested in your phony outrage. Ron Paul didn't have a snowballs chance in hades. Go peddle your cheap wares elsewhere.
And yes, Ron Paul did have a chance

Jump to 4:03. The same thing happened to Reagan.
you're delusional, and I don't say that about many people.
I just give you solid evidence and you still continue to insult me. I guess it's because you secretly know I'm right.
I know you are delusional. Now please go away. we are not interested in your nonsense.Take it to your OWS pals. they will welcome what you are offering. Ron Paul had like 6 delegates, Romney would have had the nomination regardless of the rule change.
He had 17 from New Mexico alone. Not including other states.
Republican primaries have been notoriously brutal affairs last few cycles. Its the nature of their coalition. Ron Paul will never win it, and his son will suffer association by way of the father. Republicans couldn't even pick a guy who hadn't signed an individual health insurance mandate law. This still amazes me.
Trust me, i am equally amazed that Obama beat Hillary.. still
I think that bird came home to roost on the Democrats -- their attitude that the ends justify the means, and that their war on injustice allows them to do things like recount votes until they come out ahead (and then they stop counting), wives destroying husband's ballots, etc., claiming committing multiple felonies and voter fraud (something they'd scream to the high heavens about if even a *hint* of it happened to them) is "the right thing".
It was really inevitable that their tools of fraud and divisiveness would be used against them. If it wasn't such a scary thing for the electoral process in general, I'd be engaged in some serious schadenfreude right now.
Compare the two philosophies: The Tea Party tries to use the primary process to put in their candidate, giving the people at large a fair chance to veto the outliers, while Obama's people just use fraud. With one system, they have to sell their ideas -- with the other, they just force them on you. Damn scary stuff.
Interesting.. I recalled their caucus strategy paying off, but i can honestly say i never caught a whiff of this story.. and this article's just a week or so before the election. Bears further digging methinks
Obama beat Hillary by cheating. He won the caucuses by cheating and intimidation, and without the caucus states he wouldn't have won the nomination: http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/obama-voter-fraud/2008/10/27/id/326134
far cry from the 1144 that was needed.
Noone who isn't backed by Corporate Greed has a snowball's chance in hell apparently.
take it to your fellow OWS losers and pawn it off there.
And it was so peaceful for a while. Did they let him out early or did he serve the whole 60 days, I forget.
That's the modern Democrat party. Every moderate Democrat should be shown this video.
Loved the "deer-in-the-headlights" look on the face of good ol' Tony Villar (thanks John & Ken) after that second "vote." He was absolutely dumbfounded and knew he was sinking fast. Wish I could have been in the back stage "green room" afterwards to see his whiny hissy fit.
What a bunch of morons.
Yeah, he looked pretty unhappy about his role.
Leopards just can't change their spots. Democrats are liars and cheats. Take a look at Villagarosa's teleprompter... http://tinyurl.com/dxjcvb3 Clearly, this 2/3 majority would have happened even if only 1 person was saying yay, and the rest were nays.
These guys can't even be fair with each other! No honor among thieves, I guess.
You can always tell when a politician is a hack -- calling for "aye" vs "nay" votes. There is no accountability, and everything can proceed according to script.
In every organization I've led, I've always called for a show of hands. It takes the *same* amount of time, people have to "own" their vote, and anyone present can prove that the measure passed/failed. In short, a politician's nightmare. Then again, didn't they approve the worst demagogue in history's candidacy for president by a vote of "acclamation"?
Regardless, voting at these conventions is just a show, and there's no meaning to any of it. It's just prolefeed.
acclamation (n) "Every time you clap your hands, a pinhead makes it into office."
Ayup, they call him: "Stinkerbelle"
Nice catch, Karmaa. It's almost stunning how stupid these people are. They didn't think anybody would notice?
HMMMMM - let me rephrase that... POLITICIANS are liars and cheats! Not a week ago, it seems that republicans did something similar, and with a similar teleprompter scenario! tinyurl.com/crk9yb9
We need a real kick in the butt to clean up politics across the board! They work for us, and I for one am getting sick of these weasels!
That clip needs to be put in the highlight tape.
That vote was a joke. First take was clearly 2/3 NO. Second a little closer but still NO. Then the fat woman comes up and talks to Villigiarowhatever and the third vote was at least 2/3 against and this hack says he hears it as a yes. Good Lord, what a bunch of slimeballs. Obviously they overestimated the stupidity of the attendees. I wouldnt have thought that possible. But hey, who ever heard of a democrat or journalist (yes I know, all journalists are democrats) with ethics?
LOL. After Debbie Wasserman Schultz went on CNN tonight and insisted the motion passed by a two thirds vote - "It was absolutely a two-thirds!" - Anderson Cooper accused her of living in an "alternate reality."
Even the media is turning on these crapturds.
Starting a new reverse kitty-whistle racist code book. Reading another Lib rag about this
"...intervened to change the two planks on God and Jerusalem, but it only came after there was strong opposition from church groups and many New Yorkers, CBS 2′s Kramer reported."
"many New Yorkers" is that Lib-whistle for Jewish type persons?
