You could call it an oversight. Or you could call it selective editing. Or you could stop kidding yourself and call it blatant bias.
The Wall Street Journal explains the details:
Grist.org, a global warmist Web site, has a piece on a poll asking Americans whether they favor more offshore oil drilling. A majority of all respondents say yes, as do a majority of almost all demographic subgroups: Republicans, independents, Democrats, people over 65, people 30 to 65, whites, blacks, men and women. The only groups among which more drilling has only minority support are Hispanics and those under 30.
Here’s how Grist headlines the story: “Offshore Drilling Most Popular Among Republicans, Elderly, White, and Wealthy.”
The headline is technically accurate. But to be more precise, they should have added, “And least popular among editors of global warming websites.”

For example: Good headline. White Supremacists Encounter Violence From Minority Hate Groups
That tells that two flocks of idiots are meeting up and one side resorts getting violent to get it's point across.

So non white hate groups are now only "counter protesters"? LMFAO!
The story mentions all those doing the violence and getting arrested were of the 'counter protester' group. Think they would LEAD WITH THAT HEADLINE?
When was the last time you read of a peaceful Tea Party group called by its correct title, and not 'tea bagger', or listed as a 'counter protester' to the left and to the crazy Big Gov we the people have to contend with? Instead those peaceful groups are compared to 60s Bomb throwing (Weathermen- who were all nutty liberals. An often overlooked fact) groups and to the OK City Bombers as portending 'violence waiting to happen' and as being 'dangerous' for just existing.
Oil drilling and who is in favor of it (um, mostly all of us!) getting the spin treatment is small potatoes. At least the headline did not read "A Super Drill of Crashing Violence for Oil Money and Greedy Profit Supported by ALL Republicans, New Poll Shows" Not that I want to give headline writers any ideas here...
I guess those hypocrits will put sails on thier Subarus and Toyotas and Hondas
MAYBE it's because soooooo many of the poor folks, black, white, red, yellow & brown have been educated in our wonderful public schools and have NO idea how economics works and how if you actually drill for more oil that the price of oil will come down....
