You could call it an oversight. Or you could call it selective editing. Or you could stop kidding yourself and call it blatant bias.
The Wall Street Journal explains the details:
Grist.org, a global warmist Web site, has a piece on a poll asking Americans whether they favor more offshore oil drilling. A majority of all respondents say yes, as do a majority of almost all demographic subgroups: Republicans, independents, Democrats, people over 65, people 30 to 65, whites, blacks, men and women. The only groups among which more drilling has only minority support are Hispanics and those under 30.
Here’s how Grist headlines the story: “Offshore Drilling Most Popular Among Republicans, Elderly, White, and Wealthy.”
The headline is technically accurate. But to be more precise, they should have added, “And least popular among editors of global warming websites.”
