They must have known something for sure, because they abandoned ship very early in the final stretch. They probably figured they couldnt steal this election it was too closely watched. If this election was stolen like Franken it would look bad for Obama because he campaigned for her.

I'm not celebrating until I hear Ms. Martha concede. my brother lives just north of Boston, he's registered independent (he usually votes green party if that tells you something) and his wife is a democrat. He said they are getting 8-10 calls per day this week from Croakly supporters, including a robo call from The One himself, president Obama. Brother voted for Kennedy (no shit, there's a kennedy on the ballot, he's libertarian) and sister in law voted for the bitch. Brother thinks its' too close to call. Rassmussen says that if there's a big voter turnout Croakly wins, if not, Brown. I've heard that there is huge turnout, so we'll see. But I also looked up MA voter registration. Seems that most voters are independent, leaning democrat. then dems, then republicans. Then you have all the Boston democrate machine notorious for its even handedness and strict adherance to the law...so, I'm saying my prayers and hoping for the best.
CNN just reported that the mood is very "subdued" at the Coakley headquarters.

After I stopped laughing I realized that politicians and the media has been taken us for granted for way too long. I think the democratic party gave up on her, but also feel that people are ready for a real change.
