There was an unfortunate moment the other day on San Diego Living, a TV show on San Diego’s Channel 6. A very unfortunate moment, indeed. A moment that Renée Kohn, the show’s co-host, undoubtedly wishes she could take back.
But this is a YouTube world, Renée, and your moment of infamy will live forever.
Let’s just say that Renée will have no shortage of invitations to Christmas dinner this year.

To be on the technical here San Diego's channel 6 has the call letters XETV. The station is actually licensed to Tijuana, Baja, California, Mexico, but has its studios in San Diego.
The station's Wikipedia site (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XETV) mentions this little quirk..."XETV broadcasts 24 hours a day. However, for legal sign-on purposes and as required by Mexican regulations (specifically Article 41 of Mexico's Law on the National Arms, Flag, and Anthem), its broadcast day begins at 5:00 a.m. Pacific time Monday through Saturday and 6:00 a.m. on Sundays; this begins with the playing of both El Himno Nacional Mexicano and The Star Spangled Banner, followed by the customary operational information and disclaimer, read in both English and Spanish"As seen in the example below...but this is from when XETV was a Fox affiliate.
It is now a CW station.

By the way, TV stations in Buffalo, would sometimes play both the US and Canadian anthems when they signed off or on the air.
As for that turkey caller incident...I wonder if they will have to now call the station XXXETV (Triple X-ETV)...just sayin'!
