Well, they allow people to die on purpose by refusing them food and water all the time. Those probably number in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. These are the poor saps who weren't supposed to die but simply got left off the food & water list, or the union healthcare workers didn't think it was in their job description.
Multiply the UK number to reflect the greater population we have in this country.
Given their horror at the looming eco-catastrophe caused by overpopulation, Progressives welcome anything that reduces surplus population. So Granny has to suffer a little on her way out? Small price to pay for saving Auntie Gaia.
But it was just a few hundred isolated incidents. You shouldn't judge the whole system by a few hundred mistakes.
