If your kids didn’t see the President’s speech, they must be adopted because you’re too stupid to reproduce

You. The idiot reading this. Yes, you. The moron who didn’t want his children Obamatized by the President this morning. What the hell is wrong with you?

Ahhh, we love the smell of condescension in the morning.

  • It's interesting how they make it seem like this is a new issue--that it's only conservatives who are doing this and that it was never an issue at all when previous presidents (*cough* Bush *cough*) were in office. I can't remember a time--especially in the past 4-5 years--that liberals were not doing the same thing to former President Bush. What a bunch of hypocrites!

  • Who watches this terrible AM TV? I sure as heck don't , I'd rather walk my dog make my lunch and get ready for WORK!!!

  • When President Bush gave a speech to students the democrats were so mad they filed a complaint against him. It cost the tax payers around twenty three thousand dollars. I do detest hypocrites. Those crybabies on MSNBC could almost make one laugh, if they were not so pathetic. They don't report the news. They just sit and whine all day, calling people names. I would find me another profession if I hated my job that bad. Look at Glen Beck, He has the prettiest smile. He is a smart happy person.

  • Well, we live in Alaska. Washington's 9:00 am is our 5:00 am. Not many kids in school at that hour. And they have been in school since August 22 here.

Do you think they forgot about the time difference?

  • Yeah... I don't see what the big problem is with Obama's speech to the kids.
Is it really that harmful for kids to hear that you should stay in school, not do stupid stuff, etc?
I think many conservatives are just overreacting. Maybe it's because the new mindset is that all-things-Obama are evil and communist.
This really isn't giving the party a good reputation.

    • The original controversy was over the essay portion of the project requiring students to form their own plans on how they could best serve the president. The news media may not remember this, may not report it and it may left out of the Obama proponents debates because it does not serve the current truth . . . but we will not forget.

As for telling kids to stay in school and work real hard. I agree that is some really excellent advice. Especially since they are all going to have to get some really good paying jobs so they can pay back the trillion plus dollars he's already stolen from them.

  • As they say in fourth grade -- YOU STARTED IT!! Geeze. When George HW Bush spoke to school children the left went bazerk. The recent whoopla served its purpose though, the first outline was very much a pledge of allegiance to obama. After the conservatives pitched a fit, his teleprompter toned the speech down to a pretty good, neo-con message urging kids towork hard and telling them that they are responsible for their own future. Sounds like a conservative, acts like a liberal. Maybe the kids should write an essay on the topic "What is a hypocrite?"

  • They're complaining about the same technology which Obama's campaign used to get him elected. They're just angry that conservatives are catching up with out to use it.
