Disgusting: Illinois’ military ballots, undelivered. Illinois prison ballots, hand-delivered.

The Democrat machine in Illinois is doing everything it can to deliver solid votes and discourage Republican votes.

corruption illinois Hence, this horrible story from BigGovernment.com:

Over 35 counties in Illinois missed the deadline to mail military ballots to our soldiers defending America. But in Chicago, county election officials have taken special steps to ensure that no inmates at the Cook County Jail are unable to cast a ballot.

The Chicago Board of Elections hand delivers ballots to the jail. They don’t even wait for the inmates to apply – they bring the applications with the ballots! Over 2,600 inmates have cast ballots so far – strikingly similiar to the 2,600 soldiers who will likely not recieve a ballot for the Nov 2 election.

Corruptocrats.

  • If it were anywhere but Illinois, this would be unbelievable. Our military is treated so badly. How is it that those counties could not drop ballots in the mail on time? What do they do all day? Sit around and watch Jery Springer? This same attitude happened in the 2000 presidential election. Many of the military absentee votes got conveniently "misplaced." Ilinois residents-take charge. VOTE THEM OUT!

    • .

Historical addition: The same thing happened this year in some of the boroughs ( actually burrows) in New York City. Ya know, the place where Charlie Rangel hangs out.

  • How legit are you guys. Prisoners are not allowed to vote nor released convicts except in Maine and Vermont. Not that Im a democrat, just make sure if your putting out information it's legit or you can call yourself a liberal.

    • You are incorrect. Only convicted felons aren't allowed to vote. The story refers to ballots being delivered to inmates in the county jail. County jails generally house those convicted of misdemeanors while state prisons house those convicted of felonies.

  • What nasty SOB's, they really deserve a slap across the face before they're fired. Get them out of the taxpayer's pocket. Fire them all.

  • Yup, Illinois politics as usual.

I can guarantee one thing, though --

While it may be fun and hip to offend the members of our armed services, equating them as being less than criminals, there is a price to pay in generating an opposition that has stood up to considerably more than being incarcerated for something stupid they did.

Criminals may vote once, but being criminals, they are not going to vote repeatedly, and they will not run for office as conservatives. The backlash from this will be epic, humorous, and karmic in nature.

  • Alas, poor Illinois, doomed to be passed around by crooked politicians like a drunken coed at an out of control frat party. Poor Illinois, who's sons are sent to fight and die for a freedom they can not share.

How long before Chicago looks and smells like Detroit?
