I love that a self proclaimed Mexican (read minority) blog did this. Seems not ALL minorities are Democrats, regardless of what the dems (or dims if you prefer) would like everyone to think!
Most definitely, Rose.. I knew a lot of hispanics in Phoenix who voted GOP. I haven't really figured out Denver yet. By contrast, at our office here, its almost exclusively caucasian and asian
Asians, like Jewish people, tend to vote Democrat for no discernible reason that I can find. Both ethnic groups tend to be better educated and more successful than the average American, yet they plod into the voting booth and vote for the crumbums who want to take it all away and refuse to even admit the Knockout Game exists.
So, here's a challenge:
If you want me to ever consider voting for the GOP regularly, prove to me that the GOP is changing. Purge the psychotically religious elements from the party. Excise the cancer that is the anti-intellectualism and anti-science mentality present throughout the elected representatives. Shut down the mendacious, maladjusted know-nothings that deny basic facts. Once I start seeing the change, in about five to ten years, then we'll talk; but at this point, you've let the assholes poison the well so much that I wouldn't partake of it if my other option was to drink my own piss, Bear Grylls-style.
