IRS warns employers: Do not try to avoid ObamaCare insurance mandate

• Ida business cannot charge more than 9.5% of an employees wage for healthcare then they shouldn't have to pay more than 9.5%.

• That's why the IRS needed to buy a whole shitload of hollow point ammo. The next threat from the IRS will be pay up or we shoot.

• The IRS is out of control and needs to be abolished. There needs to be a national sales tax and not an income tax. This will ensure that everyone pays their fair share. If you purchasing anything and I mean anything, there is a 20 to 25% tax place on it. If you dont buy something you dont pay the damn tax. No need for a tax code, not need for filing taxes or any thing else.

  As for corporations getting around barrycare, they are going to find every way possible to stay in business. Contrary to some here, business are in business to make a profit not to just create jobs. If they are not making a profit, they are not going to be in business. It is that simple.

  • Texas has operated on property taxes and sales taxes for years. No income tax. And we can't cover our bills. Last session, the legislature cut some $5 billion from education, This in a state with one of the highest drop out rates in the country, and many kids not really getting it even if they do graduate. There are pros and cons on every approach. But no matter how you cut the mustard, if you continue to spend more than you have, there is going to be a problem,

    • If politicians had any real concern for the country, you could cut huge amounts from "education" and still have kids graduating with better knowledge of what they need for life than they have now. They cut education, but the wrong parts of it, in an attempt to scare people into wanting to pay more taxes. Same with threats of cuts in fire and police services. Scare tactics. Cut the waste in government, not the legitimate functions.

        • Before the income tax, federal government was funded by import tariffs and other small fees. If they were ONLY doing what the Constitution allows, they could go back to that.

• I foresee most chain restaurants, and any other major businesses that can pll it off becoming franchises. This will allow them to stay under the 49 employee limit. Otherwise, they will be creating lots of part time employees.

    • You can't get checkls there. You have to have them deposited in a US bank. Of course, then you can withdraw hatever, but they won't send the check directly. Most of the retirees I know that went to Mexico for the lower cost of living also maintain a small residence in the states. I don't know if that's required, but I am pretty sure about the banking.

      • I have my retirement deposited directly to a debit card that is based with a bank here. I wish there was a way I could move my retirement out of the country before they all get grabbed.

          Why then do you do it? Clearly your dole payments are made with fiat currency. Indeed your dole payments are one of the major reasons that we have fiat currency. Your necessitating the corporatist system is one on the many reasons Ron Paul has for not wanting to support you.
