strikeRussia is no friend. It simply will spread its arms around both Iran and Israel and keep them from attacking each other. Not a bad short-term solution for the Israelis. That being said, they've been betrayed before.
Makes me wonder why American Jews can't see just how opposed to their interests this administration is.
Is this exclusionary, necessarily? Or is Israel just being smart and setting up useful alliances wherever they can on the geopolitical scene?
In the past, I'm thinking the Soviets and later Russia were such strong backers of Syria that Israel couldn't much consider it. I've got to think Russian-Syrian ties have frayed significantly in the last couple years
I agree. Syria no longer seems important to Russia. Not sure why.
