Idiot Saudis say, “Look at that hook nose. He must be a filthy Jewish spy.”

Saudi Arabia is a country with vast quantities of oil, but very little rational thought. As this story clearly demonstrates.

The Saudis captured this Israeli spy, but so far he has refused to talk

The Daily Mail UK has details of Israel’s avian James Bond:

A vulture tagged by scientists at Tel Aviv University has strayed into Saudi Arabian territory, where it was promptly arrested on suspicion of being a Mossad spy, Israeli and Saudi media reported Tuesday.

The bird was found in a rural area of the country wearing a transmitter and a leg bracelet bearing the words ‘Tel Aviv University’, according to the reports, which surfaced first in the Israeli daily Ma’ariv.

Although these tags indicate that the bird was part of a long-term research project into migration patters, residents and local reporters told Saudi Arabia’s Al-Weeam newspaper that the matter seemed to be a ‘Zionist plot.’

The accusations went viral, with hundreds of posts on Arabic-language websites and forums claiming that the ‘Zionists’ had trained these birds for espionage.

Please allow us to start a new rumor: The Israelis have also trained a flock of parakeets to fly into Saudi Arabia, sit in the trees and screech at men walking by, “I saw your wife without her burqa. She reminds me of a camel I once rode across the desert.”

Is there nothing too evil for those damn Zionists?

  • Uhm the last time I checked, for an ancient people the Jews and the nation of Israel in particular have managed to modernize and come into the 21st century. You know massive tech advances and all of that... So... really? they are going to train birds to SPY on human beings?

Or we talking something about the birds having some kind of implanted high tech monitoring and spy ware inside of their bodies? Because that is the only way that I can see this being a true issue to be worried about. Otherwise like I said above this is just hate translating into stupidity.

My other question is the following: other than possibly monitoring if they have weapons of mass destruction that can be used against Israel what does the Saudis have that Israel doesn't have or can't make on their own?

    • Disturbing yes. Surprising, no. Is there anyone at the Huffpo, staff or readers, with an ounce of common sense?

  • Too bad that some of the vast wealth the Saudis receive for the sale of their oil
isn't being used to educate the Saudi people.

    • I don't think it is necessarily a lack of education. What I think the problem is the insane and maddening hatred of all things Israel. When someone hates another person with a passionate hatred, he or she could be the most educated person in the world, but that will not stop the person from making irrational assumptions or decisions concerning the person they hate... Decisions and situations that in the back end will seem or just simply are stupid in nature. Basically hate makes people stupid and irrational in the end.

  • US Congress notified over $60bn arms sale to Saudi Arabia. Thursday 21 October 2010.
Sales will include 84 new F-15 fighter jets, upgrades to 70 existing Saudi F-15s, 190 helicopters and a wide array of missiles, bombs and delivery systems, as well as accessories such as night-vision goggles and radar warning systems.
With all of this they still can't keep the buzzards out.

  • The only reason anyone gives a rat's ass about these "idiots in the sand" is that they are sitting on an ocean of oil. The sooner the US becomes self-sufficient and produces all our own fossil fuels, the better.

    • which makes one wonder why the clowns called politicians here in the U.S.of A. drag their corrupt feet when we have more oil that OPEC in the North Dakota and Montana areas, as well as the Coos discovery on the North Slope, could it be their monetary masters who purchased their office for them make more money importing oil than developing our own fields and it also continues in the greatest export of wealth the world has ever known (accident or design)
