Things are not kosher between Barack Obama and America’s Jewish voters. The Democrat party has had an iron grip on America’s Jewish voters for generations, but it looks like that’s slipping away.
Israel National News reports the news:
United States President Barack Obama has lost nearly half of his support among American Jews, a poll by the McLaughlin Group has shown.
The US Jews polled were asked whether they would: (a) vote to re-elect Obama, or (b) consider voting for someone else. 42% said they would vote for Obama and 46%, a plurality, preferred the second answer. 12% said they did not know or refused to answer.In the Presidential elections of 2008, 78% of Jewish voters, or close to 8 out of 10, chose Obama. The McLaughlin poll held nearly 18 months later, in April 2010, appears to show that support down to around 4 out of 10.
The poll showed that key voter segments including Orthodox/Hassidic voters, Conservative voters, voters who have friends and family in Israel and those who have been to Israel, are all more likely to consider voting for someone other than Obama.
What’s the problem? So what if Barack Obama spent 20 years in the church of anti-Semitic minister Jeremiah Wright. So what if he attended anti-Semitic lunatic Louis Farrakhan’s Million Man March. So what if he ordered Israelis to stop building apartments in their own country. So what if he refused to have his photo taken with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu? So what if his administration denied visas to top Israeli scientists? So what if he’s working with the U.N. Security Council to strip Israel of its nuclear weapons?
Damn Jews really hold a grudge.

At the end I meant to say that I think what Jews and Christians have done together in the face of enemies who have constantly sought their extermination would satisfy our Abrahamic God!
More importantly I think he forgives us for what we have done to each other. What's on the table here is who is trying to kill us right now. All that's to be done about the past is to thank God that there is peace amongst us now. I don't ask that Christians be forgiven for persecuting Jews, but they should also be remembered for protecting them.
We all have our problems, Jews included. That said Israel and Britain are without question the most important allies in the world for the United States.
It's baffling to me that leftists switched from Jews to Palestinians..Jews do give other Jews jobs, but so do Caucasians, Asians, and people of African decent.
The angry Jewish commenter makes a point that's tough to refute. Up to present, Jews have contributed beyond their numbers to the very bedrock of the West (read civilized culture, i.e. a place where you wouldn't get stoned to death for being a woman who made her fatheaded husband jealous).
Judaism begot Christianity which, by converting Rome, begot the British Empire which begot the United States Empire (however little drugs, clubs and rave scenes seem like empire, they're actually its epitome).
Whether certain members of Hollywood or academia approve, the history of man is of Judeo-Christian ethics and religions converting the descendants of the Greeks who have in turn converted the rest of the world; and of the resulting civilizations or collective civilization "the West" defending against the ravages of heathen religions and regimes (including Atheistic).
Forgive my harshness but Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims, Maoists, etc. still extort, kidnap, rape, murder and pillage Jewish and Christian communities in lands they control on a level trailing in utter depravity only the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc. (not to mention what they do to other members of their own religions). You may say America did the same, but I have Choctaw blood in me and am proud of it and natives have been given unheard of precedent setting liberties in having a piece of the land that is rightfully theirs. In China, Islamic Africa and SE Asia the powerful take and the weak become extinct or flee to America to help set up ethnic studies departments.
In the West (which Jews and Christians built together like elves and men in Lord of the Rings) even talking about mass persecution of the past is barely and only cautiously allowed. In the Muslim world especially it's a living breathing reality, celebrated with heroes and heroins (at least the huge majority of us regret and resent civilian deaths deeply), now co sanctioned by the United Nations to prove a point to those nasty Christians..because the UN is sure they're just waiting for some point in the future to do what the jihadist Muslims the UN protects already do on a daily basis.
I understand that there are good and bad members of every religion and that there are would be violent extremists in all religions, but the simple fact is that there isn't a majority Christian country persecuting any group of people and the one Jewish country isn't either.
The Jews defend themselves against a host of bloodthirsty neighbors and the United States protects its interests as would any other country, not to mention giving countless trillions of dollars in direct aid and free medical and other technologies to its "victims"...who would all be drinking well water and killing each other with Bronze Aged weapons if it wasn't for us. The Turks were the last great Islamic power and a joke by WWI, China is only the upcoming superpower because we, read "The West" let it be, so at least we were not evil when we directly invested in that happening), and the same goes for India and Brazil.
If we were truly evil we would have already subjugated all of these technologically inferior extremely provocative cultures and killed any who refused. Never in history has any country or in this case group of countries possessed such an unthinkable advantage over its self-declared mortal enemies and not used it to wipe them off the face of the earth (talking about such things is reserved for classy individuals like my fellow Persian Ahmadenijiwhat). That alone is breathtaking; raising the life expectancy levels for all of these countries is something so altruistic that it, I think, even the Abrahamic God who inspired the West to do it would be satisfied.

This week in Israel, Jerusalem Day was celebrated. It was a day to commemorate the liberation and reunification of Jerusalem under Jewish sovereignty during the Six Day War -- a historical moment that Israelis will never forget. Yet as talk of pre-1967 borders surfaces again and the insistence of Jerusalem being on the chopping block remains, Obama is asking Netanyahu to forget Israel's valid historical moments, and instead "seize an historic opportunity" to make peace with the Palestinians through a process that is predicated on decades of lies and propaganda.
Attending the Jerusalem Day celebration in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said, "The battle for Jerusalem is a battle for truth. There can be no justice without truth and if there is a perversion of justice vis-à-vis our city and nation, it means the truth has been perverted, because the truth is that Jerusalem is our city and we never compromised on that."
The Speaker of the Knesset, MK Reuven Rivlin also spoke at the event, "Today it is clear that a unified Jerusalem under Jewish sovereignty is not a given. We have reached the stage where the world claims that we have stolen the city and wants us to turn the clock back 43 years."
For those of us who turn the clock back and look at Israel's history through non-propaganda eyes, we are reminded how absurd it is that Israel is asked and expected to make concessions to the Palestinians. A few truths to counter the propaganda are:
The Jews have considered Jerusalem as their capital for over 3000 years. The Palestinians have considered Jerusalem as their capital for over 30 years.
The 13th century Arab biographer and geographer Yakut noted, "Mecca is holy to Moslems, and Jerusalem to the Jews."
At the start of the Six Day War, on June 5, 1967, Prime Minister Eshkol sent a message to King Hussein stating that Israel would not attack Jordanian controlled Jerusalem unless he initiated hostilities. Jordan attacked. Israel won. To the victor belong the spoils.
Both in 1948 and 1967, Palestinian Arabs left the region to avoid being caught in the crossfire of the wars, creating many refugees. Besides Jordan, the Arab nations who initiated the wars did not help the refugees.
"I don't want to impugn anybody, but only to help the refugees. The fact that there are these refugees is the direct consequence of the action of the Arab states in opposing partition and the Jewish state," Emil Ghoury, a member of the Palestinian Arabs' national leadership, in an interview with the Beirut newspaper, Daily Telegraph, 1948.
"Since 1948 Arab leaders have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner. They have used the Palestine people for selfish political purposes," King Hussein, 1960.
Some Palestinian Arabs did return to Israel. Economic assistance was provided by Israel. Arabs in the Gaza Strip were moved from camps to new homes. This caused protests from Egypt, which had offered no assistance to the refugees when it controlled the area.
Arabs who had lived in East Jerusalem were given the option of retaining Jordanian citizenship or acquiring Israeli citizenship. They were recognized as residents of united Jerusalem and given the right to vote and run for the city council.
The name "Palestinians" originally denoted a region, not a race. Both Arabs and Jews who lived in Palestine at the start of the 20th century were known as Palestinians.
"There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity . . . yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel," Zuhair Muhsin, member of the PLO Executive Council.
A British mandate in 1922 "equally" divided the land between the Arabs and the Jews giving 77% to the Arabs and 23% to the Jews. The land given to the Arabs was Trans-Jordan, which eventually became Jordan. Both King Hussein and Arafat publically stated, "Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan."
A Palestinian statehood crisis did not exist until Israel was controlled by the Jews. Before Israel was declared a Jewish nation again, Arabs in Palestine defined themselves politically as Syrians and Jordanians.
"You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, and there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, and Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore, it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people," Syrian President Hafez Assad to Arafat.
"Why is it that on June 4, 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian? We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians. They removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag," Walid Shoebat, former PLO terrorist.
Arafat was offered Palestinian statehood. He turned it down. The on-going conflict is not about geography. The fact that Israel exists is the real conflict. As former Egyptian President Nasser said, "The existence of Israel is in itself an aggression . . . an aggression against the Palestinian people." Nothing has changed in that regard.
Beginning in the 1920's, the Grand Mufti Amin al-Husseini, who had deep ties with the Nazis, was the driving force behind opposition to any Jewish presence in the land of Israel. He set the stage for all resistance to Jewish self-governance in Israel. His tactic was known as the "Diplomacy of Rejection." It is now called the "Peace Process."
These conveniently forgotten facts and many more like them should not only be remembered on Jerusalem Day, but also anytime the "peace process" is mentioned. Jerusalem is the heart of Israel, a heart that should never be divided. If I forget you, O Jerusalem . . . not a chance.

Ever since I started to pay attention to politics I've been surprised by the dichotomy about the "left-wing-radical-Jews" who espouse pro-gun-rights and not so much giving freebies to the hoardes. But we're told they are a significant portion of the dems voting base. I never believed it. It's probably all bogus exit poll data, the Jews don't want you to think they'd vote republican because then you'd know how much money they've successfully stolen from you.
I still say if George Herbert Walker Bush had let the Mossad pick a team of 10 or 15 fellows to go take care of the Saddam guy, GW Jr. would not have had any reason to go bomb Iraq because of the Saudis that attacked the U.S. Of course, GHWB couldn't very well go letting everybody know he and Saddam had each other's phone numbers on speed dial.
