If I heard Bg Joe correctly (and there is no guarantee that I did, given his convoluted mincing of word) I think he said "it takes humility" to understand what the American people think, to which he promptly followed up with saying, essentialy "I don't have that abiity." Kind of like President Obama telling us after the Massachusetts election that HE did not do a good enough job of telling US, the American people, what our values are. Mr President--shouldn't YOU be listening to US? Because it has been painfully obvious this past 12 mnths that neither you nor your buddies have.
