The campaign commercial that sums up where we are and, unfortunately, where we’re going

Republican Joel Demos is running against first-Muslim-in-Congress Keith Ellison Congress in Minnesota.

Keith Ellison is one of those tax-and-spend Democrats, so Demos came up with a clever way to demonstrating who will pay the bill that’s being run up by Ellison and his left wing cohorts.

The production quality’s not as good as it could be and neither is the acting, but it’s a great idea executed simply and clearly.

  • Joel is long time friend of mine. Check out his website and help him defeat one of the worst representatives we have. Keith Ellison gets the vast majority of his funding from out of the district. Help Joel take him down in November!

He has some other ads you will enjoy at http://www.votedemos.com

  • That is the best campaign ad I have ever seen. Proves the point with humor and not an attack add. That was great.

  • Good job, Joel. Stated the argument up front - $43,000 tax bill, - then used non-verbal icons to hit at the emotional level. At first glance it appears a little silly - kids working - but the emotional message gets planted.

  • I could care less about the quality and the "acting". The fact that it is not PROFESSIONAL ranks it high for me because of the message being the most important part of it.

  • As a resident of his district, I kinda appreciate that the "The production quality’s not as good as it could be and neither is the acting". Adds a bit of sincerity to the feel that could have some appeal. Go Demos!!!

  • Absolutely spot on except this debt will induct the next several generations into involuntary servitude (think slavery).

  • Joel, I like the cut of your jib. Your little bastard kids, however, need an attitude adjustment. Their work ethic is atrocious and very unprofessional.
