Morning Joe is where liberal politicians go to spew their venom in a cool, calm, generally unchallenged atmosphere. Take, for instance, this clip of Senator John Kerry suggesting that the media is toooooo balanced and should correct that problem by forgetting that the Tea Party exists.

The man is ugly on the inside and it shows on the outside. I am not slandering when I am telling the truth. How is the truth a slander? He has however slandered an entire group of people again and again, he (and his wife) have assumed minor intelligence on those below themselves for years. He has slandered fellow soldiers. He screams that I should have less when he wants to have more, that I should pay more taxes when he hides his assets from the IRS. How is that slander? My stating that the man is ugly outside (and inside) is the least of his problems and issues that make him a very horrible person that I would really hate to live with. There is so much that has already been said on the man, I am just commenting on something that I keep noticing that he has no appeal to me as a man and unlike other men who get older, he is not looking debonair in any way.

Compassion for human beings? Absolutely I would save Kerry if he was drowning, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't have opinions about him as a person when he has so failed to have compassion on many people. Your not going to sway anyone here with your holier than thou attitude either. Your right, we are called to be Christ like. Some are a little better at it than others. I'm pretty sure you, nor I have quite reached perfection. You don't come into a forum like this with your attitude calling someone out. If you have a problem with your brother, or sister, you admonish them first one on one in private. Jesus associated with people that the religious leaders of the day were offended by. Jesus ran the money changers out of the Temple with a whip because He was disgusted with them. To me that was not Christ like.

Agreed. Christ sacrificed Himself and He does love everyone, however, at times it seems that He was either exasperated by some and disliked others (or else their behavior). Jesus is seen by many as a weak prophet, when He is so much more. He is a King who is going to rule with a rod of iron and step on the wicked (perhaps literally), someone who talks to me about how I am supposed to be Christ like in this way, only knows one aspect of Christ.
People have an opinion that Christians are supposed to be weaklings, that is a wrong opinion. We are supposed to be meek, but not weaklings. We are not to go out of our way to hurt others, however it doesn't mean that we must allow others to hurt us. People misinterpret the other cheek remark. It is about not seeking revenge and not debasing oneself like the wicked person, but it is not about allowing ourselves to be tortured or abused. He (Christ) made it very clear that we are to be innocent, but also very sharp. We are to use the things of this world for His Kingdom first and foremost. He promises peace, and at the same time, the Lord G-d promises offensive and defensive weapons for our use in order to, wel,l defend ourselves and go on the offensive WHEN IT IS APPROPRIATE TO DO SO.
We have to walk a narrow walk, it is not easy being a Christian, we are not of the world, but we do live in it. Being a Christian means that you are not perfect (and you know it) and therefore you follow someone that is. It is not about being perfect on our own, it is impossible. I know I can be a better person, but I will ask anyone to kiss my sweet behind if they are going to take that attitude with me.
We have crosses to bear and sacrifices to make and we also live in reality. If indeed this person is a Christian there are ways that he or she could have handled his or hers hurts feelings or else just not participate. The arrogance to assume that I want his or her forgiveness made me laugh so hard. It is something a liberal would do, especially because I didn't personally offend her or him, nor was it my intention to do so. I just think this is just one of the trolls that comes around pretending to be something he or she is not, it was a targeted move and I don't know this name on this troll so how did this troll know my belief system? It came out of nowhere. This is probably Trollivia or some other fool. Again if handled differently I would have more respect for him or her, at this point in time I do not.
In any case, it is still a troll move no matter how you look at it, because in the end it has nothing to do with the actual story or what the conversation was about.

sifi, allow me to say that I am well aware of the Bible and what it says concerning "language", however I disagree that what I typed was bad or sinful. Like I said some people are friendless if they are going to be that touchy about inocous language, however there are some people that are weaker than others, it is what it is. Like I said the approach was wrong and so on and so forth and I personally do not have a hurt conscience nor do I believe that I did anything wrong. So as far as I am concerned I am good. I still believe this person is a troll as I know this person from nowhere so he or she is probably a troll trying to make problems.

I feel I need to spend less of my free time with the internet, and cable news as well, to spend more time in my Bible and a few books on my reading list. I'm letting concern for this world (our government, mostly the left) get me too riled up. I've posted things here I'm not too proud of, but I am trying to do better. I wll still drop in from time to time, just not as often.

Progressives have a completely different set of tenets, and their formal sects separate themselves by definition. It's as different as being a Republican and being a Libertarian. We occupy the same party, but our thoughts differ on some critical issues.

If you read Grimm's Fairy Tales, pages 11-16, and 23-26, you will see some very excellent points made by the author. I especially like the parts where the male child is locked in a cage, being forcefully fed by the witch. On page 25, you'll notice an excellent verse where they mention a wolf blowing down a house. I obviously disagree with the idea that the Bible is only a fairy tale, however regardless of my personal resolution on the matter, the post was still funny. For obvious reasons I love Christian people first and foremost, however I disagree with this person's approach. Although I must admit something in me questions this person. There is something that is not quite right. In any case...
I just want to add that even though I disagree with the notion that the Bible is solely a fairy tale, which is a well known atheist appeal, the Bible DOES contain fairy tale COMPONENTS. Fairy Tales are after all accepted literature. The Bible (its books) are after all works of literature. The Bible is not for the fools, the unintelligent, the unwise and the idiots. The Bible is actually rather complex. For those that do not know, the Bible has pretty much all aspects of literature components in addition to exposition to many different types of sciences, it has been found that it does contain mathematical formulas. It has history, philosophy, eschatology, prophecy, biography...
The book of Isaiah is a great example of having different literary components including fairy tale. The story of a Deity who comes to Earth to be reviled, hated, insulted, tortured, scarred and hanged to then be healed and come back from the death, and then come back full of power, might and glamour does sound fairy tailish. It is also descriptive of His power being so immense that He will turn the driest of deserts into lush places that can be cultivated. It is unbelivable to those who have no Faith. For every "witch" there is a hero and that is of course Christ in the book of Isaiah who counters and defeats the evil (supreme) dictator (the King of Assyria in Isaiah). It reads in many ways as a fairy tale, but that is not a negative at least not for those that have faith.
