Well, Juan Williams had an interesting 24 hours, didn’t he? First he was fired over the phone by NPR for comments he made on O’Reilly’s Fox TV show. Then he was immediately given a new $2 million contract by Fox.
His new millions not withstanding, Juan is pissed. And you can’t blame the guy.
As O’Reilly says on this clip, “NPR has now devolved into a totalitarian outfit functioning as an arm of the far left. As a corporation, has a right to do what it wants, but it does not have a right to any of our tax dollars. NPR will rue the day. Congress is going to defund NPR. We are not letting it go.“
O’Reilly = dog. NPR = bone.
Wouldn’t want to be bone.

Obama and the Democratic party did this to Juan Williams.They hate Fox news.The Democratic party uses MSNBC,NAACP,Media matters,Salon and the rest of their toadies to attack every conservative and republican especially at the time of elections. Obama and the Democratic party will say anything.They are disgraceful and ruthless.
What's even better? Not only is he getting $2M per year from FOX (you knew that was coming) he is hosting Bill O'Reilly as I type...that's awesome! Not that I agree with even 20% of anything he has to say (flip-flop)....but now, perhaps, just perhaps, Juan is finally seeing the light, the hypocrisy, the ignorance, the stupidity of the left that he was so enamoured with for so long. Perhaps he may even begin to speak the truth about the Civil Rights movement...though I won't hold my breath on that.........

It's like a rich man loosing all his money or a long married couple getting a divorce...people start to find out who his friends *really* are.

hopefully. i still though found it weird becuase it is not as if O'Reilly has treated him badly... overall whenever someone insulted Juan on his show O'Reilly ALWAYS stood up for the guys so why wasn't he stand up then? oh well... now that his pocket was molested he is waking up.
It's the typical liberal attitude: Everyone else is the enemy even if they treat you well. And if they *are* treating you well, then there must be some kind of Machiavellian reasoning behind it. He seems to be waking up to the fact *his* people are the ones with issues.

Not me...we are all born with free choice and in this day and age with all the wealth of information, unlimited sources of media, videos, C-Span etc, to choose to be liberal (most notably uber lib) is perplexing.
The 2008 election is proof of that. Even though the MSM purposely ignored information about Obama and downplayed significant developments in the election, people had a treasure trove of information to find out...how many people in America do NOT have a TV or computer? Very few, so I blame the people who chose to be duped and continue to choose to be duped. Unfortunately for the rest of us, they vote AND procreate!
Well that is true, however sometimes I have to realize that they are just human beings who are being lied to and that is always sad but yet again they do choose to be deceived so it is what it is.

Nothing is more illiberal than a "diverse, multicultural" liberal organization like NPR. All opinions and viewpoints are welcome, except the ones they disagree with. So Juan has had a harsh lesson but he's learned nothing from it, he's as liberal as ever---and he has a lucrative contract with FOX.
Meanwhile NPR has the problem of finding a replacement for Juan, who will it be?: 1) an African-American, 2) a Hispanic, 3) a trans-gendered Muslim 4) a lesbian in a wheelchair. Whoever it is, he or she (or he/she) will contribute to the diversity of NPR (but not the political diversity).

Sen. DeMint is introducing a bill to strip funding from public broadcasting. I'm curious to see how the Dems will handle this one, since Williams is a liberal.
Why stop there? Here is a couple of things you can do to another Obama propiganda arm, NBC-U/MSNBC/CNBC...don't buy General Electric products. I don't care if it's light bulbs, dishwashers, or jet engines, don't support them. Also, since GE is selling NBC-U to ComCast, & if ComCast continues buisiness as usual after they assume control, go elsewhere for your TV/Internet/Phone service if you can. You can say no to them just as easily as the left can. If there are options, you should consider them when spending your money.
As some wag noted, NPR doesn't want to give up their minuscule 2% public funding, because they couldn't look the BBC and CBC in the eye if they weren't at least partially funded by stolen money.
It'll be interesting to see if Williams changes his liberal tune now that everyone that he disagreed with during his appearances on Fox were proven correct. Gee Juan, what happened to all the compassion of your liberal buddies???

Last night when he hosted O'reilly Factor, he stated that he was wrong. He did state that he thought the left was a haven for tolerance.
