You cannot make this stuff up. A British transsexual drug dealer has avoided a lengthy jail sentence because the loony liberal judge didn’t want to interfere with the convicted felon’s upcoming sex change surgery.
The Christian Institute has the details:
A transsexual drug dealer has escaped a jail sentence after a judge ruled it would ruin his chances of completing a sex change.
Ian Morris, 41, who changed his name to Jean in 2009, is due to start Government-funded hormone treatment next week.
He was on trial after police intercepted nearly 2kg of the hallucinogenic drug ketamine which was sent to his flat.
Mr Morris’s lawyers pleaded with Judge Mark Horton to spare him a jail term because of his sex change operation and asserted that he would find it “difficult” in a male prison.
The judge agreed and suspended Mr Morris’s eleven month sentence at Bristol Crown Court.
Since his sex change is still in progress, wouldn’t it have made more sense to sentence Morris to a half-way house?

Well, Britain has some enlightening features, and Obama appears to have some too! A persons individual circumstances, not the media or general public ignorance, are what a court would take into consideration in dealing with such matters. A compassionate Christian or Buddhist approach from understanding such situations would see this person as being in awful circumstances as a persecuted minority, and no society should be able to withhold appropriate and available medical treatment from anyone. If Britain has free medical options for his/her condition, then hopefully there are also services available for all those in need and not just in the worst of situations (referring to the case of the ‘sex-change’ surgery done for free in prison). A suitable half-way house may be a possible solution in Jean Morris' situation, hopefully preventing a recurrence of him/her having anything to do with ketamine or any harmful activity.
So... British citizens are to be compelled to pay for this man's choices in his life? I am not even sure how a Christian or Buddhist SHOULD provide for someone's ELECTIVE medical "care"... Why should ANYONE pay for this man's choices? If he wants to be woman so badly he should save his money and pay for his stuff himself and if he has to go to prison and can't be a woman then that is just too bad he should have not chosen to do something that would take him to prison in the first place.
