  • One wonders if Boehner is getting the same old advice from the Republican intelligentsia: "Don't focus on negative things, focus on a positive agenda."
    Why can't they do both? Remember when Jeb Bush said that the Republicans can't just be the negative "No" party? I think Boehner is getting that kind of pressure from the big shots. If he is defying three-quarters of the House Republicans, this will be his last term as Speaker if the opposition can unite around a candidate.

  • Hey, it's a thread about heroes, justice (or lack thereof), SeALs, a$$holes and betrayal, where else am I going to put it. I went ballistic on this massengill last year when he filled the suit and he's sunk even lower in my eyes and I didn't think that was possible. I bet real SeALs could teach me some new words and very creative language if I could listen in on private conversations about this.

  • Bohner better take strong notice that there is a full scale out cry to get to the bottom of who gave the order to stand down in Benghazi. If he wishes to remain speaker, his ass better appoint the committee. Otherwise he can go over to the senate and join McCain, Graham, Rubio and the other soon to be extinct RINOs. The longer he drags his feet, the more weak he presents his chicken shit ass to be.

    John, stand up and maybe you can remain speaker, cower in the corner and you will be back in Ohio pulling tall ones and mopping up the puke and blood off the tavern floor from where you came from.

  • The job of the RINO seems pretty cut and dried from my perspective- create the illusion of a balance and opposition while essentially throwing the ballgame on issue after issue and bill after bill. Bo(eh)ner is a made to order patsy-on-demand.... keeps enough of the sheeple who identify as Republican believing that they actually have some sort of voice to forestall any meaningful reform. The whole lot is nothing more than members of a criminal syndicate.
