Moving. Gives one pause to consider that even in our season of Peace and Joy, there are those who wish us harm, and thankfully, those who will defend us. God Bless those who have to live with images that would unhinge most of us.
This is horrifying. That's all I can come up with to describe it. And it makes one conflicted as well; I'm so glad that people like Bellavia are fighting to keep this country safe, but at the same time I want them them hell out of there right away. His description put a weight on my chest that I haven't felt since the morning of 9/11 when, as I watched those towers burn, I realized that some of the falling wreckage wasn't really wreckage at all...
