Let me be the first to congratulate you, President Romney

Let me be the first to congratulate you, President Romney. It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned Mrs Editor and even longer since I mentioned my mother-in-law, Mrs Editor Mama, who is the very definition of a lunatic liberal. The woman has rarely worked in her life, but recently decided to grace the Obama campaign as a volunteer. Her job is to call Democrats to make sure they’re registered to vote and to ask if they’re voting for Obama. Mrs Editor quotes her mom as saying, “It’s a lot of fun except when I ask if they’re voting for Obama and they scream, ‘Hell, no’ and slam down the phone.” I knew the election was in the bag the moment I found out the Obama campaign was desperate enough to bring my mother-in-law on board. But the fact that registered DEMOCRATS react this way is all I need to know. Set ’em up, barkeep. I want to celebrate and I’m feeling generous.

      • Yet you agree that Ron Paul is the man for the job; you're just too afraid to vote for him.

Why are you voting for Romney other then you think he's your only choice?

        • I am not afraid to vote for him! His domestic policies are ok, but his approach to international issues is completely off the mark. Romney isn't my ONLY choice. But I would certainly like Romney better than a lame duck 2nd term for Obama. The world isn't black/white, yes/no, good/bad. There are shadings and some of that has to be taken into consideration when ADULTS make reasonable decisions.

        • Where did I say that? You really are delusional and now you're putting words in my mouth. Typical libtard tactic.

      • You know I'm right. Even a good portion of this site's regulars support Ron Paul. Yet they still refuse to vote for who they truly want to win.

        • BECAUSE RON PAUL ISN"T RUNNING!!!!!!!! Are you so stupid you cannot grasp that? Every wwrite in vote for Ron Paul or anyone else, is essentially a vote for Obama! Get a grip on reality or shut the hell up!

        • You're delusional. Ron Paul can't win, voting for him is the same as casting a vote for Obama. Read history, look up Ross Perot. He's why we ended up with Bill Clinton.

          • So be it, if my choice is only between Romney/Obama then I wouldn't vote anyway. So might as well vote for who I really want as the only other scenario is we end up with the evil we have rather then risk a greater evil.

Fyi, Clinton was the last good president we had so using him isn't really helping your argument.

          • If you don't vote, don't co,e here to bitch about one single thing in government. It is a priviledge to vote, to have some amount of choice in choosing leaders. If you don't vote, you deserve whoever gets elected!

          • Which is why I said I am allowed the priviledge to vote for who I want and Ron Paul is the only one I support. And unlike all of you voting for Romney who are just doing it because you feel you have no other choice, I have real reasons for voting for Paul which I have mentioned here numerous times.

          • Clinton was the last good president we had...
ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Another hard day of doing the people's work getting this country back working, focusing, all the time for preznent 0bama.

Looks like almost 30 minutes on the job today. That is 30 minutes more than yesterday. Get's easier to see why there is just not enough time to meet with his cabinet more than once every 6-8 months.

  • Let us hope that this is the case. Until the votes are cast in the Congress I will not celebrate. The imposter in the WH will do about any thing to remain in power. Come 1/20/13 and Romney is taking the oath I will then celebrate and open the Cabo Wabo Tequila

    • I'm going to wear an Obama mask for Halloween. When the kiddies ring the doorbell I'll take their candy from them and tell them I'm going to redistribute it to children who were too lazy to get dressed up and walk from house to house to get candy.

          • dude, i can so see that! :D
I dare ya. pix needed for proof!

            YAY, halloween contest everybody.
Mr. Editor, plz approve this message.

          • I think it's such a great idea that I wrote an email to the Administrator saying that we should start a new website called ObamaForHalloween.com where we start a national conservative movement to have every homeowner dress as Obama and redistribute kid's candy. We could sell the masks. I said it would be a teachable moment for America's kids. He said, "The last thing we need is another website that doesn't make any money."

Nevertheless, website or not, feel free to tell all your friends to do it.

          • you misunderstand, I meant an IHTM member halloween costume, where all the members and above submit, pix of themselves Modestly-clothed in halloween politic-themed costume. :D

            that's all.
maybe if the link to buy IHTM gear worked...

          • Maybe one of the motion picture pros here wants to make a quick little ad opposing burok with this premise. Get it done in time for RNC to use it right around the all halloweds celebration. It'd be perfect!

  • We have a moonbat Democrat friend whom I've argued with about Obama and Jerry Brown. She will vote for neither next time around and now sends us jokes about both of them.

    • I have a woman that I've been friends with since elementary school. All I can say about her politics is that she's a teacher in Kalifornia.
I avoid discussing politics with her, I want to keep an otherwise fine friendship.

  • Mrs. Editor Mama sounds like my ex-mother in law, bless her heart. I loved the old thing, even though she was a huge (and I mean HUGE) moonbat. OK so, listen to this...

A good friend of the family was a hardcore republican. He worked for Reagan white-house. He loved to come by my MIL's house and provoke her whenever possible. In the second Reagan election, she was scheduled to go to the polling center in Chevy Chase Maryland (lots of political peeps there), and she was volunteering for Mondale/dems. OK, so my friend had placed a Reagan bumper sticker sticky side up on her car seat. She didn't notice it, and was wearing this long denim hippie-type skirt. So, she waddled around all over the polling center with this Reagan sticker right dead-center on her bum. She was FURIOUS of course, but to this day, all I have to say to my ex is "Reagan bumper sticker" and we have 5 minute fits of laughing!

I would NOT recommend doing this to Mrs. Editor Mama, but if you do, make sure you have someone else to blame. Trust me, it's better that way!
