There is something wrong – something terribly wrong – with the people in Orange County, California. This once solid bastion of conservatism has now elected the two sinister Sanchez sisters, Linda and Loretta, to Congress.
This morning we had the story of Linda Sanchez complaining that despite a $174,000 annual Congressional salary, she was so strapped for cash that she would be unable to live without her paycheck during a government shutdown.
Not to be outdone, her older, even more sinister sister Loretta now checks in with her own tale of woe.
Michael Liu: Representative Sanchez? Representative Sanchez? All right, to both of you, are you proud about the way this process has been going as people watch the two of you now debate some of the issues?
Sanchez: They’ve cut things like, I worry about wildfires in my district, they’ve cut the funding to that…
Grimm: If I can, if I can…
Sanchez: As the summer season comes up…
Grimm continues to struggle to get a word in.
Sanchez: They’re really cutting important issues; things that happen in our national forest…
Grimm: Because we’re broke. The one thing that my colleague has failed to say…
Sanchez: We’re broke because of Bush.
Grimm: We’re broke because of Bush?
Sanchez [talking over Grimm]: Broke because of Bush. Broke because of Bush. Broke because of Bush.
Grimm: You can continue to blame Bush, but President Bush is no longer in the president and hasn’t been the president for a couple of years now.
National forests in her district? We’re very familiar with her district and can’t figure out where they might be. CA-47 is as urbanized as a district can get. According to Wikipedia, “California’s 47th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California based in Orange County. The district covers the cities of Garden Grove and Santa Ana and parts of Fullerton and Anaheim, and includes Disneyland.” The closest thing to a forest in the 47th are the plastic trees on the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland.
Oh, one other thing. If there were a wildfire, which is highly unlikely in Orange County in April, it would be handled by city and county firefighters who are unaffected by any federal shutdown.
Apparently, “Sanchez” is the Spanish word for “liar.”

You have to remember that 40 percent of the country's illegals live in California. Which means that parts of OC are now effectively Mexican colonies. One of those parts is where Loretta Sanchez is routinely re-elected. Of course, since over 200,000 defense workers were laid off and two huge defense bases shut down in OC it's nowhere near as conservative as it once was, either.

I happen to live in Orange County, and I never voted for either Sanchez sister. I am a conservative, so I really AM only one vote.

Anaheim - close enough to Disneyland that I can hear and see the fireworks shows.
Many years ago, prior to Mrs. Editor, I had an OC girlfriend who once told me, "I used to see fireworks every time I had sex with my ex-boyfriend." Seeing my crestfallen expression, she laughed and said, "Relax. I lived next door to Disneyland and the fireworks went off every night at 9:00." Damn, she was a funny one.
Oh, what a funny gal. I'd be laughing all the while I was shaking fiberglass insulation into her underwear drawer so that she'd have an inexplicable rash to wonder about.

It's pathetic that we're governed by imbeciles like the Sanchez sisters; people who chant lies rather than think coherently. But the Sanchez sisters are just the tip of a political iceberg that includes Louise Slaughter, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Charlie Rangel, Jim Moran, Anthony Weiner, etc., etc.
There's lots of criminals in Congress, the Sanchez sisters are just among the most prominent, and they will be the death of this nation, if we let them.
Since they are dirty liars...someone needs to lend credence to their last name and give them a poop mustache. Editor, if they're in your neck of the woods you should bite the bullet on this one.
There was a time, way back when Loretta was first elected, when I wrote an article in an Orange County business publication saying that her politics sucked, but she was kind of hot. Man, time has not been kind to her. I, on the other hand, am just as young and virile as I was then. Maybe even more so.
I remember when this lying (foul word here) was elected and the cheating and voter fraud that went have on to get her elected was stupendous! The LameSM went out of its way to gloss over all that crap! I'm not suprised about the lying now because it's just like the lying then, only more so! God help us all! We are actively being taken over by marxists and traitors and nobody seems to be paying attention, or even care! What's wrong with us? Our house is burning down around us and we're still in front of the boobtube watching football commercials!
Ya'll keep electing the same fools that do not want to do anything about illegal immigration nor clamp down on voter fraud so what do you expect? The illegal population is going to keep clowns like the Sanchez "seesters" in office thanks to years of liberal Kalifornia politics.
I shouldn't cast stones though. Here in New Mexico, the Land of Entrapment, or is it the Land of Entitlement, we have the same problem. The only difference is this time we finally got a governor elected who is kicking ass and taking names. Susana Martinez didn't get everything she, we, wanted this legislative session but she got a balanced state budget on her desk. A lot of state employees, teachers unions and illegals are pissed off but who cares?
Sanchez is obviously pretty slow on the uptake but you'd think even she could have figured out by now that the blame Bush thing doesn't work anymore.
