Who’s worse? Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez or liberal talk show host Stephanie Miller? While that may be debatable, it’s absolutely certain that neither one is funny.
Who’s worse? Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez or liberal talk show host Stephanie Miller? While that may be debatable, it’s absolutely certain that neither one is funny.
Here’s the senior sinister Sanchez sister on Miller’s show discussing how difficult it is to work with those ignorant redneck Tea Party hillbillies in Congress.
Rush Limbaugh suffered liberal wrath a few weeks ago for doing a Chinese accent on the air. What are the odds that the same liberals who complained about that will complain about Sanchez doing her version of a Southern accent?
Not to be outdone, Linda Sanchez’ older, even more sinister sister Loretta now checks in with her own tale of woe if the shutdown where to have happened.
There is something wrong – something terribly wrong – with the people in Orange County, California. This once solid bastion of conservatism has now elected the two sinister Sanchez sisters, Linda and Loretta, to Congress.
This morning we had the story of Linda Sanchez complaining that despite a $174,000 annual Congressional salary, she was so strapped for cash that she would be unable to live without her paycheck during a government shutdown.
Not to be outdone, her older, even more sinister sister Loretta now checks in with her own tale of woe.
Michael Liu: Representative Sanchez? Representative Sanchez? All right, to both of you, are you proud about the way this process has been going as people watch the two of you now debate some of the issues?
Sanchez: They’ve cut things like, I worry about wildfires in my district, they’ve cut the funding to that…
Grimm: If I can, if I can…
Sanchez: As the summer season comes up…
Grimm continues to struggle to get a word in.
Sanchez: They’re really cutting important issues; things that happen in our national forest…
Grimm: Because we’re broke. The one thing that my colleague has failed to say…
Sanchez: We’re broke because of Bush.
Grimm: We’re broke because of Bush?
Sanchez [talking over Grimm]: Broke because of Bush. Broke because of Bush. Broke because of Bush.
Grimm: You can continue to blame Bush, but President Bush is no longer in the president and hasn’t been the president for a couple of years now.
National forests in her district? We’re very familiar with her district and can’t figure out where they might be. CA-47 is as urbanized as a district can get. According to Wikipedia, “California’s 47th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California based in Orange County. The district covers the cities of Garden Grove and Santa Ana and parts of Fullerton and Anaheim, and includes Disneyland.” The closest thing to a forest in the 47th are the plastic trees on the Matterhorn ride at Disneyland.
Oh, one other thing. If there were a wildfire, which is highly unlikely in Orange County in April, it would be handled by city and county firefighters who are unaffected by any federal shutdown.
Apparently, “Sanchez” is the Spanish word for “liar.”
Loretta Sanchez, one of the House’s sinister Sanchez sisters, strikes again, this time promising a lame duck vote on amnesty if the Democrats lose in November.
Loretta Sanchez, one of the House’s sinister Sanchez sisters, made the news last week with a racist rant – in Spanish – against Vietnamese-Americans and Republicans.
Loretta Sanchez' motto: Open mouth, insert foot
This week she’s hopped into a new vat of hot water with this gem:
“The problem is this, and I am going to lay it in front of the Latino community: If we do not win, in November, there will be no vote for a reform until another 10 or 20 years. If we win, we will have a voting in November or December. I do not know if we’ll pass the law but we will take a vote. But if we do not win, we are going to have to wait another 10 to 20 years because what is happening in this country is very anti-immigration.”
Two words: Incapacitado pato (If our schoolyard Spanish hasn’t failed us, that means “lame duck” in Spanish. But the odds are 50-50 that is means “Your mother is a whore.”)
Democrat Loretta Sanchez, one of the two sinister Sanchez sisters in Congress, is locked in a tight re-election race with Vietnamese-American Van Tran, a Republican. Sanchez told viewers of Spanish language TV network Univision that “Those Vietnamese and GOP are trying to take our seat from us.”
IHateTheMedia.com’s editor is embarrassed to admit this, but he once wrote a column in which he called Sanchez “hot.” In his defense, it was many years ago and the years have not been kind to Senora Sanchez.
By the way, far be it from us to deal in rumors, but the word in Southern California is that Sanchez may be easier than a biker chick after a six pack. As the rumor goes, her preference is military guys who serve at the Pentagon.
We have no way of knowing if it’s true and based on her current appearance, we have no desire to find out.
Apparently, Loretta Sanchez thought it would be a good idea to have one of the key culprits in the financial meltdown, Barney Frank, speak on her behalf in conservative Orange County.
The closer we get to the November elections, the easier it is to crank out all these IHateTheMedia.com stories every day. We don’t even really have to do any writing, because the increasingly desperate Democrats do it for us.
For example, Massachusetts Congressman and Fannie Mae flack Barney Frank winged his way west to campaign for embattled California Congresswoman and rumored tart Loretta Sanchez. Apparently, Sanchez thought it would be a good idea to have one of the key culprits in the financial meltdown speak on her behalf in conservative Orange County.
That’s where Frank came up with this gem.
Frank: “Now here is what apparently happened on Jan. 21, 2009 … if you listen to the Republicans. It was, after Pearl Harbor Day or 9/11 of 2001, the worst day in American history.”
Congresswoman Linda Sanchez parties after a long day of jailing bloggers
You never know what to expect from the sinister Sanchez sisters – Linda and Loretta both Democrat representatives from California – but you know it won’t be good.
Rep Linda Sanchez, a California Democrat, says, “Congress has no interest in censoring.” Of course, she said that in defense of her bill that censors the internet.
Sister Linda has introduced the Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act. Despite her claim that “Congress has no interest in censoring,” Civil libertarians call the overly-broad bill “the Internet Censorship Act of 2009.”
“Put simply,” she commented in a piece for the Huffington Post, “this legislation would be used as a tool for a judge and jury to determine whether there is significant evidence to prove that a person ‘cyberbullied’ another. That is: did they have the required intent, did they use electronic means of communication, and was the communication severe, hostile, and repeated? So — bloggers, e-mailers, texters, spiteful exes and those who have blogged against this bill have no fear — your words are still protected under the same American values.”
Sanchez shows her deep commitment to the First Amendment by including the phrase “so-called free speech” in her HuffPo article.
Methods of communication where so-called hostile speech would be criminalized include telephones, websites, e-mail, instant messaging, blogs, and text messages. No word of whether sexting is included.
Murphy’s Law says, “Whatever can go wrong will go wrong.” It’s corollary, Sanchez’ Law says, “Whatever I say is wrong is wrong.”
