Luke Russert is amazed – absolutely amazed – that black Republican candidates want to be endorsed by the Tea Party people. ‘Cause they’re racists, you know.
“These folks are actually soliciting support from the Tea Party,” Russert said, “a group that a lot of folks have claimed to be racist against African Americans. These folks actually see them as the ones they want in their tent as a path to victory.”
Far as we’re concerned, there’s only one thing worse than young Mr. Russert being shocked by the thought of a black Republican. And that would be his remarkably mangled syntax.

I suppose Luke could be excused for being young and naive. But when all you hear is one side of the story -- or, if you do happen to hear a dissenting viewpoint, it is cast aside with either disdain or outrage -- then that is all you learn. As long as he's only listening to DNC talking points, perhaps young Russert might want to take the President's advice and read the Wall Street Journal or watch Glenn Beck. At least take a peek at Breitbart.com.
Also, a question for Luke: is the word "folks" your code for "people who aren't too bright?" Or is it just your way to sound like a man of the people? Either way, it's a little shabby.
