If 2010 doesn't begin to turn it around, the progressives will be so emboldened, they will go on to pass the rest of the legislation on the agenda that will finish the destruction, cause they'll believe that it's what the people want and they will be more than happy to give them what they want.

It is not unusual for certain preachers in the Black community to be loud and rambunctious. His centralmessage is correct, BUT he should not focus on what the "white folks" are going to do, any and all true blue americans no matter their skin color will one day get tired and do something. Glenn Beck says the same thing and sometimes he says it with tears in his eyes but I don't see you mocking him about that...
I'm not a big fan of preachers as a general rule but this guy hit the nail on the head. It won't be just white people that are going to rise up though. I live in a very multi-ethnic area and I see blacks,whites,browns, reds, and even asians (when was the last time you saw a pi**ed off Buddhist?) who are fed up with what is going on in our country and feel powerless to do anything to change it. It's just like Germany in the 20's and 30's.
This reminds of a lecture given by my military history instructor back at the academy... the lesson was on why WWII was inevitable because of how Woodrow Wilson and the League of Nations failed with the way they handled the German people after WWI. I recall how Germany's re-emergence as a world power and major military machine was viewed with surprise by the rest of the modern nations... One of my fellow cadets asked, "Why didn't these Humanist thinkers see this coming?" My instructor replied, "Because in they're deluded short sightedness and lack of appreciation for history they all forgot that when you piss off those blond haired blue eyed boys and they come sailing out of the North, you better nail everything down; because if they can't take it, they're going to f*ck it, and if they can't f*ck it, they're going to burn it to the ground."

Well, what worries me is that if the time ever does come, and he is right, it will be too late to talk it back down. The media will not be able to just change the "Top Story" of the hour and make it go away.
Congress knows if they don't renew the unemployment benefits they might be facing some very serious backlash. Most of the newly unemployed people just want their jobs back not ramblings of "The Summer of Recovery" that never happens. It is serious and the only thing keeping it from accelerating are the chance of changing it in November and unemployment benefits...

I listened to a bit of the "black" show on KDKA today as I went to the store and the first thing said by one of the callers was....reparations.
The next thing they did was try to attack the Beck event yesterday in Washington.

My family had someone fight in the Civil War. For the Union. How do we deal with white families who lost people in that war. Should they get reparations too? What about people who are black, but have not been in this country but for 30 years. Or their families had no ties to slavery. What if their families actually had a hand in selling other blacks into slavery back in Africa.
As for Preacher Manning...I think he is on to something. People can really only take so much of some crook like Sharpton telling them that they are evil and the cause of so much terrible stuff. I think a lot of the disgust with Sharpton and Jackson really started to grow when Jackson was found to have been a sleazy bastard getting a gal preggo and paying her to keep silent.
